HOW TO INSTALL

DISCONNECT BATTERY

The first step to install the stereo is to disconnect your battery. Disconnect from the negative side.

REMOVE FACTORY STEREO

To install the radio, you have to remove the factory radio. There will be some cigarette connections in the panel, unplug them all. Remove the screws with the help of screw driver. After this, disconnect the panel. Remove the screws around the radio with the help of a nut driver and remove the radio. Unplug the connections such as AM, FM antennae

PREPARE WIRE HARNESS AND STEREO

First step is doing vehicle wiring harness to your aftermarket radio harness, which share the same colors. All you have to do is just match color for color, utilizing the butt connectors or crimp caps or solder and heat shrink, whatever method you want to use.

CAGING THE UNIT

For Single Din installation, you will get a dash kit that has a single din opening, with a pocket of storage. The first step of caging your unit is making sure that you got the proper size opening. The cage is just going to slide in it now.  There are little teeth wrapping around the cage which are blend into pieces by a flat-head screwdriver, that way it locks the cage into the dash kit and it does not fall out of the dash once it is installed. Just push down all the tabs. After it is successfully caged, the unit will just slide in right through the front as so. You will see locking tabs on side which will lock into place once the stereo is all the way in. the stereo is successfully caged now.

INSTALL STEREO ACCESSORIES

After mounting the ISO and wiring up the harness, run any additional accessories such as Bluetooth microphone, satellite radio antenna or run your rear USB to your glove box or center console.

INSTALL NEW STEREO

Take your wired harness and plug it into the factory connection. Plug the harness into the stereo then take the AM and FM antenna and plug them in the back of stereo. Slide the radio into the place and make sure that you do not have any wires dangling down on the bottom or top so you pinch them. Bolt the stereo right back in.
