CWPTT-KEYS Wireless PTT Car Keys
User Manual
Model: CWPTT-KEYS
Transmitter: DC 3V, 225mAh battery inside
Receiver: DC 5V, 20mA power supply from the radio
** Before initial use, please pull the battery plastic safety separator from
the PTT.
(To open the key fob back cover, refer to “Battery Replacement” section.)
CHOICE Wireless Capable PTTs
Instructions:
- Power OFF the radio.
- Plug C+WPTT/C+WWPTT to the radio and then power ON the radio.
- Simultaneously press and hold the PTT button on CWPTT-KEYS and the Blue button on the rear side of C+WPTT/C+WWPTT for approx. 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.
- After successful pairing, the radio will be in TX mode, release both buttons.
- Once successfully paired, press PTT on CWPTT-KEYS once to exit pairing mode.
- Repeat the above steps to pair additional wireless PTT units with C+WPTT/C+WWPTT.
Battery Replacement:
- Remove the metal key blade from the key fob.
- Remove back cover.
- Remove the old battery.
- Replace with a new 2032 battery.
- Snapback cover of key fob in place.
