 Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.

WARNING — TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR INJURY TO PERSONS, OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • WARNING! Risk of injury! Avoid contacting moving parts. Wait until all components have completely stopped before touching them.
  • Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product’s rating label.
  • Do not insert fingers or foreign objects in any opening of the product and do not obstruct the air vents.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not expose the product to water.
  • Do not use in a bathroom.
  • Never use the product without the safety guard or with a damaged safety guard.
  • Do not place any clothes or curtains on the product as they could be sucked into the fan during operation and damage the product.
  • During use, keep hands, hair, clothing and utensils away from the safety guard to avoid injuries and damage of the product.
  • Unplug or disconnect the appliance from the power supply before servicing.
  • This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse according to the instructions in this manual (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

Battery warnings

  • Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity (+ and —) marked on the battery and the product.
  • Exhausted batteries should be immediately removed from product and properly disposed.

Polarized Plug
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

Intended Use

  • This product is intended to produce a cooling airflow.
  • This product is intended for household use only. It is not intended for commercial use.
  • This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.

Before First Use

  • Check for transport damages.
  • Clean the product before first use.

Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away from children -these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

Inserting batteries (remote control)

  • Open the battery compartment.
  • Insert two 1.5 V AAA batteries in accordance with the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
  • Close the battery compartment.

Assembly

Step 1:

  • Connect the leg (F) with the base (G).
  • Secure the connection with the knob screw (H).

Step 2:

  • Loosen the knurled screw on the leg (F) by turning it counter-clockwise.
  • Extend the inner rod to its maximum length, then secure it with the knurled screw.
  • Connect the main unit (E) with the rod. Fasten both parts with the knurled screw on the main unit.

Step 3:

  • Pull the large blade (C) off the plastic piece, which is attached to the center of the rear guard (B). Remove the plastic piece and discard it.
  • Unscrew the fixing ring from the main unit’s front.
  • Connect the rear guard (8) with the main unit (E). Align the rear guard’s small round holes with the 3 pins on the main unit’s front.
  • Secure the rear guard (B) with the fixing ring.

Step 4:

  • Place the large blade (C) on the shaft. The cross pin on the shaft must be aligned with the groove on the rear side of the large blade (C).
  • Hold the large blade (C) with one hand and attach the small blade (D) to the shaft. Rotate the small blade (D) counter-clockwise until it stops.

Step 5:

  • Connect the front guard (A) with the rear guard (D). The 8 grooves on the inside of the front guard’s collar must click into place at the edge of the rear guard (0).
  • The hook of the guard collar needs to be attached to the rear guard (D).
  • Fasten both guards with the hinged locking clip and secure the clip with the screw (J).

Turning on/off

To turn on the product on or off, press (1).

Auto ON/OFF Timer

 The product features a timer, which allows you to set an automatic switch on/off time. You can choose from 1 to 18 hours.

  • To turn the timer on, press . Press repeatedly or turn the control knob to select between 1 and 18 hours.
  • To turn the timer off, press repeatedly or turn the control knob until 0 is shown on the display.

Airflow modes
 The product features 3 airflow modes: normal, nature and sleep.

Press to toggle between the airflow modes. You can choose from following modes:

Mode Description
Normal Constant airflow at the currently selected speed.
Nature The product cycles through different speed modes to provide a natural

breeze airflow.
Sleep| The product operates in high speed for 15 minutes and in medium speed for 15 minutes, then keeps operating in low speed.

Speed
 The product features different speed settings. You can choose from 1 to 12.

  • To speed up the airflow, turn the control knob right (clockwise) on the main unit, or press + on the remote.
  • To slow down the airflow, turn the control knob left (counter-clockwise) on the main unit, or press on the remote.

Oscillation

To turn on the automatic oscillation, press . To turn the oscillation off, press again.

Press and hold to mute or unmute the button sounds.

Memory function

The product memorises the last speed, mode and oscillation setting made once it is switched on again, unless the power is disconnected.

Auto display off

When the product is switched on and left idle for one minute, the display turns off automatically. To turn the display back on, press or on the remote control or on the main unit.

When the display is off, and can still function.

Height/angle adjustment

Height adjustment

  • Turn the knurled screw on the leg counter-clockwise.
  • Move the main unit up or down.
  • Secure the main unit by turning the knurled screw clockwise.

Angle adjustment

The angle of the fan can be adjusted manually. Simply tilt the guard up or down.

Fuse replacement

 The product requires a 5 A 125 V fuse.

  • If the product loses power and you suspect that the fuse has blown, unplug the power plug.
  • Slide the cover towards the prongs of the plug.
  • Remove the blown fuse and replace it with an identical fuse.
  • Slide the cover back to close the fuse compartment.

Cleaning and Maintenance

 Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock, unplug before cleaning.
Risk of electric shock! During cleaning do not immerse the electrical parts of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.

Cleaning

  • To clean, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
  • Regularly remove dust and dirt from the guards using a vacuum cleaner.
  • Dry the product after cleaning.
  • Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.

Maintenance

  • Store in a cool and dry place away from children and pets, ideally in original packaging.
  • Avoid any vibrations and shocks.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
The product cannot be Switched on.  Check if the power plug is connected to

the power outlet.
Check if the power outlet works.
Wait for the product to cool down. Replace the fuse in the power plug.
The product is too loud.| Tighten the blades.
The product vibrates.| Place the product on a level surface.
Clean the blades.
