Overview of the speaker

LEDs are also used to indicate the status of Smart Speaker.
Press once to change LED light mode. -
Press to increase or decrease volume.
Press and once to increase the LED light brightness.
Press and-once to decrease the LED light brightness -
In Bluetooth mode, press to pause or resume play.
In Bluetooth mode, press twice to play the next track. -
In Wi-Fi mode, press to pause or resume play.
Press and DUI once to select the next LED light color -
Trigger Wi-Fi setup.

SERVICE(No Playback Function).
Connect to the power supply. -
Enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
Clear Bluetooth pairing information. -
RESET. Press and hold for 5 seconds to
restore the factory settings. -
Audio input from, for example, an MP3
player (3.5mm jack). -
Wall-nut. This structure can be used to
hang the equipment on the wall.
GET STARTED
Always follow the instructions in this chapter in sequence.
Plugin the power
The speaker is powered by AC input.
NOTE:
- Power requirement: 19V 2.1A
- After the speaker is powered on, the LEDD flashes 40S.
Connect the AC IN socket on the speaker to an utlet (19v ==2.1A) by using the provided Power-able.
Caution
- ‘Risk of speaker damage! Make sure the power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the back or the underside of the speaker.
- Risk of electric shock! When unplug the Power cable, always pull the plug from the socket. Never pull the cable.
- Use only a power cable specified by the manufacturer or sold with this speaker
Turn on/off
To turn the speaker off, pull the cable.
Note: The speaker will turn off automatically after 15 ninutes without
user operations and music playback.
Play from WI-Fl devices
Play from wi-FI devices
With this speaker, you can enjoy audio from your Wl-Fl device
Note
- Make sure that the W-Fl function is enabled on your device.
- Keep away from any other electronic device that may cause interference.
- Download and run the Philips Sound app on a phone or tablet.Set up your device in the Philips Sound app.
- Turn on the Wi-Fi function on the smartphone and connect to the Wi-Fi network.
STEP
- Pres and hold for 8 sec of the wifi connection button located at the back cabinet to reset the Wi-Fi connection.
- Until the second chime can be heard.
- The wifi light on the top panel is changing from fast Blink (Attempting to connect or connecting to a Wi-Fi router) to Slow Pulse (Setup Mode).
- Open the Play-Fi App.Set up the unit with Philips Sound app.
- The wifi light on the top panel is changed to solid when the connection is successful.
Upgrade
Upgrade to latest firmware version when first time set
NOTE
- Always upgrade your device with latest firmware version to improve the functionality and features of your device.
- After connection, you can change the device name to your custom name. Otherwise, it follows the default name.
NOTE
- Need to step out of the Philips Sound app.
- Restart the app.
- Start the setup again
Play from Bluetooth devices
Play from Bluetooth devices
With this speaker, you can enjoy audio from your Bluetooth device.
Note
- Make sure that the Bluetooth function is enabled on your device.
- The maximum distance for pairing the speaker and your Bluetooth device is 20 meters (66 feet).
- Keep away from any other electronic device that may cause interference.
- Press it will enter Bluetooth pairing mode automatically.
- Enable Bluetooth and select “Play-Fi Device-BT” in the Bluetooth list on your device for pairing
- Play audio on your Bluetooth device to start streaming music.
LED indicator: Description Ready for pairing
Blinking blue Ready: for pairing, Reconnecting the last, connected device
Solid blue: Connected
Note
- To disconnect a device, press and hold for 2 seconds until the LED indicator blinks blue quickly.
- When you turn on the speaker, it always automatically tries to reconnect the last Successfuly connected device.
- to clear the pairing information, press and hold for 2 seconds until the LED indicator slowly blinking blue for 3 times.

7 Troubleshooting
Warning
Never remove the casing of the speaker. To keep the warranty valid, never try
to repair the speaker yourself. t you encounter problems when using this
speaker, check the ollowing points before requesting service. If the problem
remains unsolved, go to the Philips website (www.philips. com/welcome). When
you contact Philips, ensure that the peaker is nearby and the model number
and serial number are available.
General
No power
- Make sure the speaker is fully charged.
- Make sure the AC IN socket of the speaker is properly Connected.
- As a power-saving feature, the speaker urns off automatically 15 minutes after no audio signal is received or no audio device is connected.
No sound
- Adjust the volume on this speaker.
- Adjust the volume on the connected device.
- In AUDIOIN mode, make sure that music playback through Bluetooth is stopped.
- Make sure that your Bluetooth device is within the operational range.
No response from the speaker Restarts the speaker.
- Restart the speaker.
- Bluetooth
The audio quality is poor after connection with a Bluetooth-enabled device
- The Bluetooth reception is poor. Move the device closer to this speaker or remove any obstacle between them.
Fail to find [Philips 6205] on your Bluetooth device for pairing
- Press and hold } for 2 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode, and then try again.
Cannot connect with your Bluetooth device
- The Bluetooth function of your device is not enabled. Refer to the user manual of your device to find out how to enable the function.
- This speaker is not in pairing mode.
- This speaker is already connected to another Bluetooth-enabled device.
- Disconnect and try again.
