IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this
product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
When using electric products, basic precautions should always be followed,
including the following:

Read all the instructions before using the product.

Do not use this product near water – for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, in a wet basement, near a swimming pool, or the like.

This product, either alone or in combination with an amplifier and headphones or speakers, may be capable of producing sound levels that could cause permanent hearing loss. Do not operate for a long period of time at a high volume level or at a level that is uncomfortable. If you experience any hearing loss or ringing in the ears, you should consult an audiologist.

The product should be located so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation.

The product should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, or other products that produce heat.

Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through openings.

The product should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
a) The power-supply cord or the plug has been damaged; or
b) Objects have fallen, or liquid has been spilled onto the product; or
c) The product has been exposed to rain, or
d) The product does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance or
e) The product has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged. -
Do not attempt to service the product beyond that described in the user-maintenance instructions. All other servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel.
Battery Warnings
NOTICE
The batteries are not included.
- Always insert batteries correctly with regards to polarity (+ and —) marked on the battery and the product.
- Exhausted batteries should be immediately removed from the product and properly disposed of.

Intended Use
- This product is intended for tuning string instruments guitar, bass, violin, and ukulele. It is also intended for giving a timing reference (metronome function).
- This product is intended for household use only. It is not intended for commercial use.
- This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
- No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or non-compliance with these instructions.

Before First Use
- Check the product for transport damages.
- Remove all the packing materials.
DANGER
Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away from children – these
materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
Operation
Inserting batteries
- Open the battery compartment on the backside of the product.
- Insert 2 batteries (Type W).
- Close the battery compartment on the backside of the product.
NOTICE
Only use Alkaline batteries (LR03, R03).
NOTICE
Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -) marked on
the battery and the product.
Switching on/off
Press and hold the button (H) for 2 seconds to switch the product on/off.
Switching modes
- Press and hold the M/T button (L) for 2 seconds to switch from tuner mode to metronome mode.
- Press the button (H) briefly to switch from tuner mode to tone generator mode.
NOTICE
For electric guitar tuning, use the provided pick-up clip (N). Attach the clip
to the head plate of the guitar and insert the plug into the 1/4″ input jack
(G).
Tuner mode
- Press the M/T button (L) briefly to set the tuning scale to Chromatic, Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, or Violin.
- Press the button (I) or button (J) to adjust the A4 frequency: 430 – 450 Hz.
- Press the button (K) briefly to adjust the flat tuning: N/A b bb (in Guitar, Bass mode).
NOTICE
- The microphone (F) senses the instrument’s sound. Adjust the string tension until the in-tune indicator (C) lights up for that specific note.
- When an adjusted string is in the right tuning, the In-tune indicator (C) lights up.
- When an adjusted string is above the right tuning, the # indicator (D) lights up.
- When an adjusted string is below the right tuning, the b indicator (B) lights up.

Tone generator mode
- Press the button (I) or button (J) to select the tone:

- Adjust the volume (A) for the desired audio level.
- Proceed to choose the desired selected tones as reference tones, accordingly.
Metronome mode

Press the M/T button (L) to set the beat from 0-9.

Press the button (K) to select the rhythm:

Press the button (I) or button (J) to adjust to the desired tempo from 30 – 250 bpm.

Press the buttons (H) briefly to start or stop the metronome.

Cleaning and Maintenance
NOTICE
Switch the product off and disconnect all the connected devices before
cleaning.
NOTICE
During cleaning do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never
hold the product under running water.
Cleaning
- To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, or metal, or sharp utensils to clean the product.
Storage
- Store the product in its original packaging in a dry area. Keep away from children and pets.
