PAIRING GUARDIAN ATEX WITH GUARDIAN STANDARD OR GUARDIAN PLUS

By default, the GUARDIAN ATEX terminals (ARF8158) embed a 16Khz audio quality and therefore communicate with terminals having the same configuration (GUARDIAN ATEX or GUARDIAN PLUS ARF8154 / 8156). GUARDIAN ATEX terminals can also communicate with GUARDIAN Standard (ARF8150 / 8152). A «quick configuration» from the configurator is required to reconfigure all GUARDIAN ATEX terminals in communication with GUARDIAN Standard terminals. It should be noted that the audio quality of GUARDIAN ATEX terminals changes to Standard quality (8Khz) as soon as they are paired with GUARDIAN Standard terminals. In the presence of GUARDIAN Standard on the configurator at the time of the «quick configuration», the GUARDIAN ATEX terminals will take the Standard audio mode (8Khz). Note, it is not possible to pair the three types of terminals at once: GUARDIAN Standard, GUARDIAN PLUS and GUARDIAN ATEX. GUARDIAN Standard and GUARDIAN Plus do not communicate together. Encryption type: Fixed key or No encryption If you want to add a GUARDIAN ATEX to an existing conference containing GUARDIAN ATEX and GUARDIAN Standard, it is mandatory to bring back at least one GUARDIAN Standard on the configurator and redo a «quick configuration» with the GUARDIAN ATEX. If you want to add a GUARDIAN Standard to an existing conference consisting only of GUARDIAN ATEX terminals, it is mandatory to bring back all GUARDIAN ATEX to the configurator and redo a «quick configuration» with the GUARDIAN Standard. Encryption type: New key at each config. In any case, it is necessary to bring back all the terminals that you want to pair on the configurator for a new «quick configuration».
