INTRODUCING YOUR MASSAGE SEAT
Thank you for buying this massage seat. It has been specially designed to give
you a relaxing massage in your own home, just like in the great oriental spas.
It is equipped with Shiatsu massage and massage balls which radiate heat to
relax your muscles. You can also listen to a choice of relaxing and
stimulating music thanks to its fitted MP3 adapter and 3 prere-corded tunes.
Make yourself comfortable and fully enjoy this opportunity to relax and forget
your worries.

SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
- For your safety, this appliance complies with all applicable standards and regulations (Low Voltage, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Environmental directives, etc.)
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabi-lities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Never allow children to play with the packaging as it may cause suffocation.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children. Never let children play with packaging materials, as they could be suffo-cated.
- Always unplug the appliance after use and before cleaning. To turn it off press the OFF switch and then unplug it.
- Never leave the appliance unsupervised when it is plugged in. Unplug it when it is not being used or before fitting or re-moving parts or accessories.
- Do not touch the appliance if it falls into water or any other liquid. Disconnect the power supply and unplug the appliance immediately. Keep it dry – Do not use it in damp or wet conditions. Do not use the appliance near any sources of water such as baths, sinks, tanks or any other container holding water. Make sure your hands are dry when you handle the appliance. It must never be handled under water or in any environment that could make it wet. The appliance should not be kept in the bathroom.
- Do not stick pins or any other metal object into the seat.
- Always use the appliance according to the instructions provided. Do not use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer.
- The appliance must only be used with the power pack supplied model WT-6108CP-EU.
- Never switch on the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged, if it is not working correctly, has been dropped or has fallen into water.
- For all maintenance contact the after-sales service for your dealer.
- Keep the power lead away from hot surfaces.
- Heavy use may lead to overheating and can shorten the life of the product. If the appliance overheats, allow it to cool down before it is used again.
- Never drop or insert foreign objects in any of the openings.
- Do not use the appliance in places where aerosols are being used or oxygen is being given.
- Do not use the appliance under a blanket or pillow. This may lead to overheating, risk of fire, electric shock or injury.
- Do not use the power cord to move the appliance or as a handle. It should never be lifted, pulled or turned using the power cord.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- Check that the voltage of your mains supply corresponds to that of the appliance. Any error in connection may cause irreversible damage which will not be covered by the guarantee.
- Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
- Do not use your appliance and contact an Approved Service Centre if your appliance has fallen or if it is not functioning normally.
- To avoid the risk of accidents, do not exert excessive pressure on the seat.
- For your safety, this appliance switches off automatically after 15 minutes. Do not consider this function as a substitute for ‘OFF’ mode. Always remember to switch off the appliance when not in use.
- Do not use an electrical extension cable.
- Do not use at temperatures below 0° or above 35°.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS
READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE.
- If you have a medical problem, consult your doctor before using this appliance.
- It is recommended that people with a pacemaker and pregnant women consult their doctor before using this appliance.
- Do not use on children, invalids, sleeping or unconscious people. Do not use on people suffering from poor circulation.
- Do not use on any part of the body that has been anaesthetised or that is not sensitive to pressure or pain without first consulting your doctor.
- In the event of discomfort when using the appliance, stop the session at once and consult your doctor.
- This is a non-professional appliance for personal use , designed to provide a soothing massage for tired muscles. It is not to be used as a substitute for medical treatment.
- Do not exceed the recommended duration of use.
- Never use the appliance on parts of the body that are swollen, burnt, inflamed or suffering from skin rashes or ulcera-ted wounds, or on areas with recent scars without the prior consent of your doctor, or on the legs if they have varicose veins, on the calfs in the event of unexplained pains, or on the carotid artery to the right and left of the neck.
- Above all never place the appliance under your stomach. It is intended for use on the back , nape of the neck and the lumbar region only!
- Do not use the appliance on areas with severe acne , redness or other skin complaints. If you experience any pain or discomfort , stop the treatment at once.
- The appliance has a hot surface. Those insensitive to heat should use the appliance with caution.
USE
Important! In order for the massage mechanism to function, it is essential
that you remove the transport screw located on the back of the appliance using
the hexagonal spanner before using the appliance. If you fail to remove the
screw the appliance will be irreparably damaged. Do not try to replace the
screw after having removed it, throw it away.

Attach the massage seat to a chair using the strap intended for this purpose located at the back of the seat. For your comfort, we recommend that you place the massage seat on a chair with a slightly inclined back rest.

Connect the power pack (h) to the seat cord (c). Plug into the mains (Figure 1).

Sit comfortably. Press the “On/Off” switch (1) on the remote control (the indicator (2) will light up red) and select one of the two programmes: ENERGY (5) or RELAX (3) or compose you own massage session with the SHIATZU massage (zone 7). For a more intense massage, you can remove the seat protector that covers the mechanism (Figure 2).
Note: when first using the appliance, certain tension points may be painful. If this is the case, change your position on the seat until the massage is pleasant.
To stop the appliance: -
Press the “On/Off” switch (1). The red indicator light will flash while the mechanism returns to its initial position, and then goes off (the indicator (2) goes off).

Disconnect the plug (h) from the mains supply in order to ensure that the mechanism cannot be accidentally reactiva-ted.
RELAX PROGRAMME
This 30-minute programme has been specially created to provide you with a long
relaxing massage session for total wellbeing.
1. Press the RELAX switch (3) to commence the programme (the indicator light
(4) will come on). There will be alterna-ting phases of massage, heat and
relaxing music. To stop the RELAX programme, press the RELAX switch (3) a
second time.
Note :
The function programme does not allow you to modify the massage parameters
(speed, heat, zone) or to plug in your MP3 player.
You can change the music, however. You can increase the volume (25) or reduce
it (24) as well as selecting the music you wish to listen to using switches 22
and 23.
ENERGY PROGRAMME
This 15-minute programme has been specially created to provide you with a
stimulating massage, an excellent source of energy and vitality.
1. Press the ENERGY switch (5) to commence the programme (the indicator light
(6) will come on). There will be alterna-ting phases of massage, vibrations
and stimulating music. To stop the ENERGY programme, press the ENERGY switch
(5) a second time.
Note :
The function programme does not allow you to modify the massage parameters
(speed, heat, zone) or to plug in your MP3 player.
You can change the music, however. You can increase the volume (25) or reduce
it (24) as well as selecting the music you wish to listen to using switches 22
and 23.
SHIATSU MASSAGE
To begin the personalised massage session, select the zone you wish to be
massaged.
UPPER (8): SHIATSU massage from the middle of the back to the top of the back.
LOWER (10): SHIATSU massage from the middle of the back to the bottom of the
back.
BACK (12): SHIATSU massage of the entire back, from top to bottom and bottom
to top.
SPEED VARIATION
You can alter the speed of the massage to suit your own sensitivity. To
increase the speed, press the upper arrow on the SPEED switch (14). To reduce
the speed, press the lower arrow on the SPEED switch (15).
Note : Speed may only be varied with the SHIATSU massage.
VIBRATIONS
You can complete your massage session with vibrations in order to re-energise
yourself and relieve stress and
tension. There are two vibration modes. To select the first, press the
VIBRATION switch (18) once. The vibration No1 indi-cator (19) will light up.
To activate the second vibration mode, press the VIBRATION switch (18) a
second time. The vibra-tion No2 indicator (20) will light up. To stop the
vibrations, press the VIBRATION switch (18) a third time.
HEAT FUNCTION
The massage seat radiates a gentle heat during the massage.
Press the HEAT switch (16) to activate the heat function. The balls of the
massage mechanism light up and the indicator on the remote control lights up
orange (17). To increase the temperature, press the HEAT switch (16) a second
time. The indicator on the remote control will turn red (17).
The heat is not instantaneous. You will have to wait for 5 to 6 minutes before
feeling the effects.
To turn off the heat function, press the HEAT switch (16) again, the heat will
gradually diminish and the indicator (17) will go off.
Note: The heat function cannot be used unless the personalisable SHIATSU
massage (zone 7) is selected.
MUSIC
a) Soundtracks
The massage seat is equipped with 3 types of music: 2 gentle and relaxing
tunes and 1 stimulating tune
- Press the Music Play/Pause button (21)
- Select the music you wish to hear, using the track selection buttons (22 and 23)
- Adjust the volume, using the + and – buttons (24 and 25)
- To pause the music press the Play/Pause button (21)
Note: The 3 pre-recorded tracks cannot be played if the lead (27) connecting the seat to the MP3 player has not been removed (Figure 3) or if your MP3 player is connected to the remote control.
b) MP3 player
When you are using the seat you can listen to your own choice of music with
the MP3 connector.
- Connect the MP3 lead (27) to the socket on the remote control (26) and connect your MP3 player to the lead (27) (Figure 3).
- Turn on your MP3 player\
- When your MP3 player is connected to the seat it will control the music played and the seat’s remote control will have no effect.
- At the end of your massage session make sure the MUSIC function is turned off by pressing the ON/OFF button (1) and unplugging the power supply.
10- MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down. To clean it use a soft cloth
moistened with slightly soapy water. Be careful not to put any part of the
appliance into water. Do not use the appliance again until it is com-pletely
dry. Never clean the seat with a hard brush, abrasive substances, solvents or
alcohol.
Warning: the seat cover is not removable and the seat cannot be machine
washed.
STORAGE
Do not store the appliance until the balls have cooled down completely. We
recommend you to keep the original box and store the seat in it after use so
that it is not exposed to any sharp objects which might cut or damage the
fabric. Do not wind the power cord round the appliance, as this may damage it.
Do not hold the seat up by the cord.
IN THE EVENT OF PROBLEMS
