Cleaning Kitt
Kitt and its cleaning cap are made from antimicrobial plastic. This means that its body includes an active ingredient that makes it resistant to microbial growth such as mold, mildew, and bacteria.
- For surface cleaning, a soft, damp cloth is recommended to wipe Kitt clean. Kitt must not be sprayed directly or submerged in water.
- When cleaning Kitt, please ensure that its teal cleaning cap is securely attached to prevent water damage to the charging port and switches.
- Kitt’s teal cleaning cap can be hand-washed and air-dried if required. Please do not soak the silicone cleaning cap for extended periods or use boiling water as this can cause damage to the silicone.
- Do not aggressively clean the transparent plastic over its face and camera, as this could result in clouded photos.
Docking Station
- Kitt’s docking station can be wiped clean with a soft, dry cloth.
- Kitt’s clothing can be machine washed in cold water.
- Kitt’s carry case can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
- Kitt’s whiteboards can be cleaned with a whiteboard cleaning solution.
Transporting Kitt
Kitt can be safely transported between home and school in its carry case or original packaging.
- Please be mindful not to place heavy objects on top of Kitt or place it in a location that could become wet.
- Do not place Kitt in a school or book bag without protection. Always be mindful to protect Kitt’s face and camera when in transit.
