CHROMING CR167-001-01 RIFT Trail Knee Protection
INTENDED USE
The Rift knee guard has been designed to offer comfort and mobility while pedaling and provide strategic knee protection for mountain biking. The guard is designed to be slipped on over the feet and is held in place on the knee by elastic and silicone in key areas. The Rift is not intended for powered cycling or motorcycle use. For cases where high speeds and extra abrasion is a factors, such as lift access terrain, extra protection may be required. The Rift is intended for use at temperatures between -15°C and 40°C. The Rift is not a toy and is not intended for users with a body mass of less than 20 kg (45 lbs.), or less than 14 years old.
PRODUCT LIFE
The expected life for this product is two years from the date of purchase
unless the product is damaged, in which case it must be replaced. Crashes and
improper care may cause severe damage. Do not place product in high heat or
extremely cold conditions. This could damage the product.
SIZES: XS, S, M, L, XL
FITTING
View the size chart for proper sizing and fitting of your knee guard. The knee guard should not be loose in any area. Make sure there are no gaps between the guard and leg, and the openings are snug. The knee guard padding should be placed directly over the kneecap.
CLEANING
Hand or machine was cold only. Do not machine dry or dry clean. Do not bleach. Do not clean your protective gear with anything but soap and water. Do not use any abrasive cleaners or pads. Do not use hot water or chemical cleaners or any solvents which contain petroleum-based products like benzene or gasoline on your protective gear. Your protective gear can be weakened by these substances and may not provide its intended protection in an accident, which can result in serious injury or death. Do not use hair dryers or heaters to dry your protective gear.
STORAGE
Store the Rift in a cool, dry, well-ventilated environment away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Do not store in a vehicle or under heavy items.
INSPECTION
Inspect your protective gear (including its fitting system) before each ride and after any crash for signs of wear, crack, break, or other damage. If the product is damaged, or if there is any doubt as to its condition, it must be replaced and not be used.

during the use of a product is not considered a defect. No warranty or
representation is made as to this product’s ability to protect users from any
injury or death. The user assumes that risk. Protective equipment is built to
assist in absorption of light impacts. It must be replaced after serious
impact and should not be used if there are any cracks, damage or torn
material. Protective gear is intended to minimize injuries, but it does not
guarantee complete protection against injury or death. Do not modify this
protective product in any way as it would dangerously reduce its intended
performance. This product conforms to CE standards (EN 1621-1:2012) only in
the configuration originally sold by the manufacturer.
Chromag does not offer any warranty or representation of this product’s
ability to protect the user if pieces are removed. Only the pieces in original
positions conform to the CE standard.
