MYS Air MS20,22,25 Thermostats

PRECAUTIONS AND STANDARDS

Before using the thermostat read this instruction carefully. After reading the instructions, keep this manual in a safe place and hand for future reference.

WARNING

  • The system and thermostat must be installed by qualified and authorized personnel.
  • The system and thermostat does not contain parts that can be repaired by the user. For repairs, always consult authorized service personnel.
  • Make sure the place you permanently install or fix support the weight of the thermostat and not sudden temperature charges.
  • You must install the thermostat and system with its dedicated power supply.
  • In case of malfunctions, a burning smell, etc … stop the system in immediately, turn off the switch and consult authorized service personnel.

CAUTIONS

  • Do not use inflammable gases near the thermostat and system components.
  • Do not spill water into the thermostat or system.
  • Do not operate the thermostat with wet hands.
  • o not install the thermostat in a place where it is in contact with combustible gases, machine oil, sulfide gas, etc …
  • Do not press the screen with sharp elements.
  • Do not pull excessively of the thermostat power cord.
  • Do not use the thermostat or system for other purposes.
  • Do not spray insecticide or another combustible item on the thermostat or system.
  • Do not clean the thermostat or other system components with benzene, solvents or other chemicals.
  • Do not knock or disassemble the thermostat or other system components ..

Environmental Policy.
Never throw the equipment with household waste. Electrical and electronic products contain substances that can be harmful to the environment if it is not given proper treatment. The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin indicates a separate collection of electrical appliances, differing from normal waste. for proper environmental management must be taken to center the end of life. RECOMMENDED LOCATION ON WALL

For proper work of the thermostat, it must be installed considering the following recommendations:

  • Do not place near a heat or cold source.
  • Do not place near a heat or cold current.

  • Setpoint temperature at 0.S°C intervals.
  • Selectable temperature in°C / 0 F.
  • Selection of S operating modes between Cold air, Hot air, Underfloor, Cold air+ underfloor refreshing and Hot air+ Underfloor heating.
  • Power supply with 2xAAA 1.SV (RF) or cable system (Fixed wall installation).

  • The underfloor mode only works when exiting a radiant installation.

THERMOSTAT ON AND OFF

  • Press the icon to turn ON or turn OFF thermostats.
  • NOTE: The thermostat is OFF when the “OFF” icon is displayed.
  • The thermostat is ON when a “WORK MODE” icon is displayed.

WORK MODE CHANGE

installation is only for ventilation or has a combined stage for underfloor heating.

  1. Press an icon to turn on the thermostats and show the available working modes. Usually only appears heat mode and cold mode.
  2. Press on the desired work mode icon. Once the icon is pressed, It will start blinking indicating the selected working mode.MYS-Air-MS20,22,25-Thermostats-fig-8

Heating or cooling will only work in facilities with a combined heat stages.
NOTE2: To select underfloor only, press the icon repeatedly until appears “C” or “F” icon near the clock icon. “ ” indicates underfloor refreshing and “C” indicate underfloor heating.
NOTE3: To select an underfloor with combined heating or combined cooling, press first the “Hot air Mode” or “Cold air Mode” icon, and before 5 seconds press the “Underfloor mode” icon.

  • To change the setpoint temperature, press Anywhere on the display while it is in some working mode and the function menu is displayed.
  • In to the menu, press.A T icon to increase or decrease temperature. After 3 seconds without press any other icon, it will exit from setting temperature.

SETTING TIME AND DATE

To set a time and date, it is performed from the function menu. If the thermostat is OFF, press the icon to turn it on. Press and hold 0 icons in the “functions menu” around 5 seconds, Until the display shows only the time and begins to blink.

  • hh:mm: Set Time pressing   icons. Press the 0 icons to set the time and advance.
  • DLA: Set the day of the month by pressing the V icons. Press the 0 icon to set the day and advance.
    • nnES: Set month by pressing  icons. Press the 0 icon to set moth and advance.
    • Ano: Set year pressing  Visions. Press  the 0 icon to set the year and exit.

NOTA: The thermostat will automatically display the day number of the week it is in after adjusting the date .. To set time automatically in other MS20 thermostats (Only WiFi model) . More info in: www.mysair.es ->Videos.

  • This function’s for a timer or countdown to the OFF thermostat. The thermostat has these timed cycle: 30/60/90/120 minutes.
  • To set up this function, press the icon in some working mode or directly in “The functions menu.
  • The display will show “0030”, equivalent to 30 minutes, next to the text “TIMER” in the upper left corner. Each press-on the icon will increase the timed cycle.
  • To cancel the Timer, press and hold the icon until the minute digits disappear and the text “TIMER” disappears.

NOTE:
After an established timer and with the thermostat at rest working, if the icon is pressed again, the timer cycle will increase.

Time

  • This function it’s for timer or countdown to OFF thermostat.
  • The thermostat has this timed cycle: 30/60/90/120 minutes.
  • To set up this function, press icon in some working mode or diretly in “Functions menu”.
  • The display will show “0030”, equivalent to 30 minutes, next to the text “TIMER” in the upper left corner. Each press on  icon will increase the timed cycle.
  • To cancel the Timer, press and hold e) icon until the minute digits disappear and the text “TIMER” disappears.

NOTE: After an established timer and with the thermostat at rest working, if the icon is pressed again, the timer cycle will increase.

HOURLY PROGRAMMING

The thermostat allows setting up to 3 work schedules to start and stoop automatically. The set up it’s

  1. Access the function menu after pressing
  2. Press “TIMER” icon text or on the place where the icon text appears
  3. The “TIMER” icon text disappears and appears “PROG 1” icon text. This icon indicate that its is set temperature, working mode, on/off days and time.
  4. Press on the “00:00” icon located at left of the clock icon, for set time to start. Press on “00:00” icon located at right of the clock icon for set time to stop.
  5. Press on the temperature icon to set desired working temperature.
  6. Press on the working mode icon to set desired working mode.
  7. Finally, on the right side, press and hold for 5 seconds on days of week numbers icons to show or hide the days you want work the “program 1”. Week starts on Monday and is equal to “1”. icon.
  • NOTE1: To save and exit programming mode, press icon.
  • NOTE2: To cancel a program, set up the start time and end time to “00:00”.
  • NOTE3: Whith thermostat OFF, if the display shows the “PROG” icon, It means that there is some program configured and will come to work on time.
  • NOTE4: To disable all scheduled programs must be the thermostat OFF and press the “PROG” icon is displayed and once disappeared this text, will be canceled the established schedules.
  • NOTE5: Ensure that the scheduled work mode will not conflict with other programs or other thermostats area at the time of commissioning.

SPEED FAN FUNCTION

WARNING.
THIS FUNCTION CAN NOT BE USED IF THE INSTALLATION DOES NOT HAVE THE TOTAL CONTROL MODULE GANGWAY AND THE THERMOSTAT IS NOT CONFIGURED FOR THAT.

With the thermostat off, press the icon, or if the thermostat is at rest, press anywhere on display to access the “functions menu”. Next to the Cooling icon will appear the fan icon Each time the icon is pressed, the fan speed will change between -, 1, 2, 3 y A. To the right of the clock icon, the selected fan speed is marked manually.

Speed clarifications:
Default speed Automatic speed set by the control unit according to the area calculation, of the open areas.

  1. Speed 1. “2”: Speed 2. “3” : Speed 3. “An Automatic speed set by thermostat and changes according to the temperature difference between the ambient temperature and the selected temperature, +3° difference to high speed, 2° diference to mid speed y 1° diference to low speed. Only use this mode “Auto” when existing only one zone at the system or independent Fan coil.

Note1: The fan speed will be reset to “-” each time the thermostat is reset.
Note2: The control unit will obey the last thermostat in selecting speeds.

Permanent speed lock Fan.
Press and hold the icon for 5 seconds, the fan speed will be blocked regardless of the demand for other open areas or by calculation of open zones. The display shows “F” (Velocidad auto sistema), “F1” (Speed 1), “F2” (Speed 2), “F3” (Speed 3) y “FA” (Automatic by a thermostat).

  • Note3: The speed will be blocked even if the thermostat is restarted.
  • Note4: The fan speed lock can only be fixed with radio thermostats and can not be combined in a system with wired thermostats.

Unlocking speed fan permanently.
To unlock the speed fan permanently, press and hold icon for 5 seconds.

COMMUNICATION STATUS CODES

The thermostat’s display show information regarding the status of the communication with the Control Unit.

Description of codes in data transmission:

  • E Error in communication with a central control unit (only radio).
  • C Grid Closed by setpoint.
  • 0 Sending data by radio (only radio).
  • 1,2,3 Into the hourly programming, shows the schedule that is being modified.
  • BAT Low battery, change batteries (only radio).
  • Con Enter the setup menu.
  • ESP Wait, saving data in memory.
  • Ed Sending data to central control unit.
  • CC Change to heating mode.
  • CF Change to cooling mode. Also shows the thermostat zone and thermostat time.
  • F Only underfloor refreshing.
  • C Only underfloor heating.
  • OFF Thermostat off, grill closed.
  • The remaining minutes are also displayed for the thermostat to turn off automatically when the timer is running.

Speed Fan.

  • An Automatic.
  • F Fan speed fixed.
  • 1/2/3 Low speed. Mid speed.
  • Hight speed. Modal speed.

OFF Total system stop.
It also shows the setpoint temperature and the actual temperature.

  • FF1 / FF2 Errors in the mode of operation of the installation.
  • FF3 / FF4
  • FF5

Day of the week:

  • 1 Monday.
  • 2 Thursday.
  • 3 Wednesday.
  • 4 Thursday.
  • 5 Friday.
  • 6 Saturday.
  • 7 Sunday.

  • With cable communication.
  • Can be placed in 70 mm. universal box.

  • Selection of S operating modes between Cold Air, Hot air, underfloor heating, Cold Air+ underfloor refreshing and Hot air+ underfloor heating.
  • Adapt aesthetically with all the mechanisms of the market, and factory order.
  • Built-in temperature probe.
  • Setpoint temperature at 0.S°C intervals.
  • Selectable temperature °C / °F.
    • The underfloor heating mode will only work when there is a radiant stage installation.

TURN ON/ TURN OFF. THE THERMOSTAT

Turn On/ Turn off the thermostat.
Press the key to turn it On or Off the thermostat.

CHANGE WORKING MODE.

The thermostat can have 2 or 5 working modes depending on whether the installation is only for ventilation or has a combined stage for underfloor heating.

  1. Press C) key to turn on the thermostat.
  2. “00” It is the thermostat’s current working area.
  3. The display shows the last selected working mode, press the “M” key to select another working mode. Usually, only show the Heating mode and cooling mode.

The available working modes are:

NOTE1: *Both the Underfloor heating/ Underfloor refreshing modes autonomously as underfloor combined with cold air or hot air, will only work in installations with a combined heat stage.
NOTE2: After selecting “Underfloor” autonomously, “C or F” may appear on the display, indicating whether it is Underfloor heating “C” or Underfloor refreshing Floor “F”.MYS-Air-MS20,22,25-Thermostats-

CHANGE SETPOINT TEMPERATURE

To change the setpoint temperature, press keys. At that time, the setpoint temperature will flash, next to the zone number of the thermostat “00”. After about 3 seconds without touching any key, it will exit from the temperature setting.

TIMER

  • This function is for a timer or countdown to the OFF thermostat.
  • The thermostat has these timed cycles: 30/60/90/120 minutes.
  • To activate the “Timer function, Press the key, in some working mode.
  • The display will show “030”, equivalent to 30 minutes.
  • Each press-on  key will increase the timed cycle.
  • To cancel the Timer, press and hold key until the minute digits disappear.

NOTE:
After an established timer and with the thermostat at rest working, if the key is pressed again, the timer cycle will increase.

COMMUNICATION STATUS CODES

  • CO Entry in the configuration menu.

  • Rd Receiving data from the system control unit.
  • FF Write error in memory.
  • 00 Grill closed by setpoint.
  • CC Change thermostat to heating working mode.
  • CF Change thermostat to cooling working mode.

The display shows the thermostat zone every time it starts.

  • OFF Total System Stop.
  • lni Starting thermostat.

The display show the room temperature and setpoint temperature.

WARRANTY POLICY

GENERAL TERMS OF WARRANTY
By means of the present, Materials and Industrial Supports of Levante S.L. (Hereinafter referred to as “MYS”) grants to the Products a warranty for defects in workmanship or materials used for two (2) years; to be counted from the date of invoice, in the event of any lack of conformity with the contract for the sale of the products in the terms set forth in article 116 of Royal Decree 1 /2007, dated November 16, which approves the consolidated text Of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, or regulations that replace it.

General conditions.
During the warranty period, MYS, in relation to Products that have manufacturing defects or materials used, will replace or repair (at MYS ‘discretion) the product or its defective parts in accordance with the conditions specified then without charge for their own labor or parts repair. MYS may replace defective components or products with new or recycled products. All products or components of the replaced products are owned by MYS. Shipping and delivery conditions between buyer and MYS. If the purchase occurs outside the peninsula or European Union, MYS not in charge of transporting the material to the seller’s premises or customer delivery after reviewing the product. This warranty does not cover, under any circumstances, the costs of moving the uninstallation and assembly of the product or material. In order to request the delivery of material under warranty MYS should be contacted, once the product anomalies have been observed, the after- sales service of MYS will confirm how to proceed in the replacement directly in the distributors or making a new shipment by courier. The Purchaser receives the “standard warranty” mentioned by default. Upon request, a “warranty extension” or “custom project guarantee” may be agreed upon after evaluation of the specific conditions of the application, installation or use.
