WARNING

  • Do NOT use headphones at a high volume for an extended period. To avoid hearing damage, use headphones at a moderate, comfortable volume level.
    Turn the volume of your device down before placing headphones on your ears. Turn up the volume to a comfortable level.

  • Do NOT use your headphones while driving or riding a bicycle.

  • Do NOT use your headphone with noise canceling on at any time where the inability to hear surrounding sound may present a danger to you or others.

  • Do NOT use your headphones if they emit any loud or unusual sounds. If this occurs, turn the headphones off and contact ZVOX customer service.

Warning: Contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard. Not intended for children under 3 years of age.
This product contains magnetic materials. Consult your physician on whether this may affect your medical implant.

  • To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do NOT expose this product to rain, liquids, or high levels of moisture.
  • Do NOT attempt to make unauthorized changes or alterations to this product.
  • Use this product only with an agency approved power supply that meets local regulatory requirements.
  • Do not expose this product or other products containing batteries to excessive heat such as in direct sunlight or a hot automobile

  12. Grounding or Polarization –This product may be equipped with a polarized alternating-current line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fails to fit,  contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

  13. No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.

Charging The Internal Battery: The AV52 headphones plug into a standard wall outlet with a universal wall-wart charger provided with most cellphones or a standard USB input on a computer or TV.. The micro USB type C end goes into the left side of the headphones for charging. When charging a red indicator light appears. A blue solid light will indicate a full battery charge. Battery capacity: 600MAH/3.7V

Note: You can use the wired audio connection to listen to audio while charging.

Listening Time: 30 Hrs Listening Time w/ ANC: 25 Hrs Full Charging Time: 2.5 Hrs Standby: 600 Hrs

Wearing the AV52

Wearing the AV52: The earcups of the AV52 headphones are marked with an “L” and an “R”. Position the “L” earcup on your left ear and the “R” earcup on your right ear.  Adjust the depth of the headband for a comfortable fit.

Power ON: Press and hold the MFB (Multi-Function Button) for 2 seconds, a blue light will flash and an audible voice command saying “Power on, pairing” will be heard through the headphones followed by red and blue lights flashing indicating Bluetooth pairing mode.
Power OFF: Press and hold the same MFB (Multi-Function Button) for 5 seconds, a red light will flash and an audible voice command saying “Power on” will be heard through the headphones.

Volume Up: Click + Once (Max volume, beep notification)
Volume Down: Click – Once
Skip Track Forward: Hold + for 2 seconds
Skip track Backwards: Hold – for 2 seconds

Pick Up Call: Click MFB once during incoming call
Hang Up Call: Click MFB once during a phone call
Reject Call: Hold MFB for 2 seconds during incoming call
Play/Pause Track: Click MFB Once while audio is playing
Siri: Double click MFB

ANC (Active Noise Cancelling):

Turn ON: Power on the AV52 headphones, then tap the ANC button to activate noise canceling. A GREEN indicator light will appear and a notification chime will be heard,  the feature will stay on indefinitely until the same ANC button is pressed or the headphones are turned off.
Turn OFF: To disable ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) tap the ANC button, the same green indicator light will disappear and two low tone beeps will be heard.

Clearing Bluetooth Pairing Records:

While the ZVOX AV52 headphones are powered on, hold the MFB (multi-function button) & Volume + simultaneously for 5 seconds, you should hear a low tone beep and the blue indicator LED appearing for 2 seconds followed by red and blue LEDs flashing indicating the headphone’s memory is refreshed and ready to pair to new devices.

How to Pair to Phone or Tablet (Computer):

Step 1. Press and hold the MFB (Multi-Function Button) for 5 seconds to enter the pairing mode. Red and blue lights will appear flashing followed by a voice command  “pairing”.

Step 2. Immediately turn on the Bluetooth function within the device and search for ZVOX AV52 in the Bluetooth list, then click to connect. The voice command “Bluetooth 1  connected” will be heard after successfully connecting. Done! Note: Smartphone are used in this setup but tablets & computer setup is similar.

Pairing to a Second Device:

You may have two devices paired simultaneously to the AV52 headphones. After connection one is established, shut the Bluetooth Off from the first established device then follow the previous pairing steps to set up the second device. Once the second connection is established, turn the first device’s Bluetooth back on and reconnect to the ZVOX  AV52, The voice command “Bluetooth 2 connected” will be heard after successfully

How To Pair Wireless To a Television:

Connecting The ZVOX AV52 Headphones wireless via Bluetooth to a TV is simple. The TV must be equipped with Bluetooth capabilities (See TVs Manual), if not equipped you must purchase a Universal AptX Bluetooth Transmitter that will then connect to an audio output on the TV allowing wireless audio to transmit to the AV52 headphones.  Call ZVOX at 866-367-9869 or visit support.zvox.com and search for Recommended AptX Bluetooth transmitters.
