**General instructions for use

Read these instructions before use AND keep them for the life of the product.
Warning! Not suitable for children under 3 years of age due to small parts. Choking hazard.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Regularly check the main parts of the product (backboard, hoop, post, base, screws, etc.) to make sure it is in a good state of repair.
  • Without these regular checks, the product could tip over or present other risks to the user.
  • Failure to follow the safety instructions below could result in serious physical injury.
  • For domestic use only.
  • The owner must make sure that all players understand and follow the instructions for the use of the system.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS :

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS PHYSICAL INJURY, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, AND/OR VOID OF THE GUARANTEE.

DURING ASSEMBLY:

  • To be assembled by adults only.
  • Follow the assembly instructions (diagrams and text supplied).
  • When selling up, taking down, adjusting the height of the product, or moving the system, keep hands and fingers away from moving parts.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE IN PLAY

  • Read the instructions below before using this product. Fai­lure to follow these safety instructions could result in serious physical injury and/or damage to property.
  • Children must be under constant adult supervision when using this product.
  • Do not hang from the rim, net, or any other part of the system.
  • During play, keep your face away from the backboard, hoop, and net.
  • Serious injury could occur if teeth or face come into contact with the backboard, hoop, or net.
  • Do not climb, jump, slide or play on the base, post or
  • Do not shake the frame.
  • Risk of strangulation with the net
  • Do not allow a child to move or adjust the system alone, this must only be done by an adult.
  • Before play, remove all jewelry (rings, watches, necklaces, etc.); these objects could get caught in the net.
  • Keep organic substances away from the product.
  • Grass, rubbish, etc. could cause corrosion and damage the system.
  • Check the state of repair of the system (signs of corrosion such as rust, holes, and flaking) and repaint with exterior enamel
  • If rust has worn through the steel at any point, replace the post immediately.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRODUCT BACK TO THE STORE!
Call your nearest Decathlon store, ask the team sports sales assistant to perform a product diagnosis, and obtain more information. Under the guarantee and in line with the instructions for use, there are two ways you can get the parts you need:

  • You can order them directly from the site: DECA-THLON
  • Or go to a DECATHLON store to order them and/or have them fitted. PLEASE NOTE, depending on the sales assistant’s diagnosis, not all parts will be covered by the guarantee. Tools are not provided.
