Instructions

Before UsingRETEKESS-Affordable-Pager-System-with-Vibration-Prompt-

  1. Please charge the pagers for more than 10 minutes before

  2. The charging indicator flashes quickly during charging and stays on when fully charged

  3. Remove a pager from the charging slot, and enter a desired number (1-998) through the keyboard within 10s

  4. Press [Call] key to confirm, the pager beeps, paring is done
    Note:

  5. Repeat above steps (3 and 4) to pair other pagers

  6. Press[Back] key twice to exit the setting mode

Paring Operation (F1)

On the charging mode

  1. Press [Set] key to enter setting mode, the F1 is shown on display.
  2. Press [Call] key to enter the paring mode, the charging indicators on pagers will turn off, and other indicators will turn on. 000 shows on the display

Call Pager

  1. Enter the desired number, then press [Call] key to confirm  the corresponding pager will beep, vibrate and flash.
  2. The pager will stop beeping/vibrating/flashing when you put it back into the charging slot

Turn Off Pagers

Enter 999 in the Call Mode(000), press [Call] key, all the charging pagers will be off. All charging indicators will turn off for 5 seconds, and then light up again to indicate the charging status.
If you remove the pagers from the charging slots or disconnect the power, all indicators of the pagers will turn off.
Note:

  1. If you need to turn on the pagers, insert them into the charging slots and connect the transmitter to the power source.
  2. This instruction is invalid to the pagers that are not being charged

Note:

  1. [Back] key: Press the [Back] key to return to the previous menu, or cancel the input content.
  2. [Calling History] key: It can be checked 10 recent called number by pressing △/▽ key in the call mode. The showing number on the display can be re-called by pressing [Call] key. It is the Page key in function setting mode.
  3. After entering F2, the command can only be selected by the page key

When radios are used as a consequence of employment, the Local Government Regulations requires users to be fully aware of and able to control their exposure to meet occupational requirements. Exposure awareness can be facilitated by the use of a product label directing users to specific user awareness information. Your Retekess radio has a RF Exposure Product Label. Also, your Retekess user manual, or separate safety booklet includes information and operating instructions required to control your RF exposure and to satisfy compliance requirements.

Radio License (if appropriate )
Governments keep the radios in classification, business radios operate on radio frequencies that are regulated by the local radio management departments (FCC, ISED, OFCOM, ANFR, BFTK, Bundesnetzagentur…).To transmit on these frequencies, you are required to have a license issued by them. The detailed classification and the use of your radios, please contact the local government radio management departments. Use of this radio outside the country where it was intended to be distributed is subject to government regulations and may be prohibited.

Unauthorized modification and adjustment
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance may void the user’s authority granted by the local government radio management departments to operate this radio and should not be made. To comply with the corresponding requirements, transmitter adjustments should be made only by or under the supervision of a person certified as technically qualified to perform transmitter maintenance and repairs in the private land mobile and fixed services as certified by an organization representative of the user of those services.
Replacement of any transmitter component (crystal, semiconductor, etc.) not authorized by the local government radio management departments equipment authorization for this radio could violate the rules.

RF Exposure Information(if appropriate)

  • DO NOT operate the radio without a proper antenna attached, as this may damage the radio and may also cause you to exceed RF exposure limits. The louder the radio’s volume, the ess time is required before your hearing could be affected. Hearing damage from loud noise is sometimes undetectable at first and can have a cumulative effect.
