Operating Procedures
Transmitter Operation
Steering
- With the car facing away from you, if you turn the steering wheel to the right, the car will turn to the right. If you turn the steering wheel to the left, the car will turn to the left.
- To stop the model when at a high speed, push or pull the trigger to a negative direction.
Throttle
If you pull the throttle towards you, the car will move forward. If you push the throttle away from you, the car will go into reverse.
Trim Adjustment
Steering System: Linear steering system (PAT)
Transmitter has control over the torque for the steering motor, which is
dependent on wheel operation. The amount of torque is dependent on user and
trim setup. Steering trim dial is found on the top of transmitter.
1. Turn steering trim to set tires in completely centered position.
2. Proper Trim Adjustment Before Running
3. Setup throttle trim so that the chassis is stationary when placed on flat surface and tone is at lowest pitch.
4. Setup steering trim so that the chassis tone is at lowest pitch when
stationary. Steering Trim Lever on chassis must be straight as pictured in the
figure.
5. The model will stop automatically if the battery level on chassis is
depleted. Please switch off model before continuing.
Driving!
Drive slowly at first to practice driving before attempting to drive at high speed.
If you turn the box over, it can be used for ramp.
When the car starts to slow down, you will need to recharge the battery.
Maintenance
After running it is necessary to perform routine maintenance. Failure to do this can result in increased wear and damage to the engine and chassis.
After Running Maintenance
1. Clean drive shaft and tire of debris. If not, the motor will overheat and may cause damaged. The car will become hard to control.
2. Please store car on a flat surface when not in use. If the chassis and front suspension have been bent, turning radius will be compromised.
3. If turning radius is compromised, you can fix it by bending it with your hand. Put the car on the flat surface to determine if aligned evenly.
