HOW TO INSTALL BATTERIES
- Turn the puppy OFF. Open the battery doors with a screwdriver (A). If used batteries are present, remove all batteries from the unit by pulling up on one end of each battery. DO NOT remove or install batteries using sharp or metal tools.
- Install new batteries as shown in the polarity diagram (+/-) inside the battery compartments.
- Replace battery doors securely. Check your local laws and regulations for correct recycling and/or battery disposal.
POWER ON
To power on, move the power switch to the ON position. Your pup will turn on and be in AUTONOMOUS MODE. It will bark and move around like a real pup.
SLEEP
If you ignore or don’t play with the puppy it will fall asleep and enter SLEEP MODE. Press the button on the back to wake it up.
MODES OF PLAY
- Pet the head multiple times for PRINCESS/FAIRY MODE
- Pet/tickle the belly for PUPPY MODE.
- Hold the back button first and quickly pet the head for an INSTANT TRICK.
ROYAL REPEAT
- Press the button on the back to play ‘ROYAL REPEAT’ (Princess Pup) or ‘ENCHANTED ECHO’ (Fairy Pup).
- When the puppy is in this game, it is listening to you
- When you bark or speak to the puppy, it will respond and imitate you in barks. After three exchanges of speaking and barking back, the puppy will return to AUTONOMOUS MODE.
PRINCESS PROMISES
- Hold the button on the back to enter ‘PRINCESS PROMISES’ (Princess Pup) or ‘MAGIC MESSAGES’ (Fairy Pup). A chime sound will indicate you are in the game.
- Puppy starts by barking once and waits for you to copy it by barking back the same number of times. Keep copying the number of barks of the puppy. If you copy the puppy’s barks three times, you win!
- At any time you can short press the button on the back to exit to AUTONOMOUS MODE.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Always remove batteries from the toy when it is not being used for a long period of time. Wipe the toy gently with a clean damp cloth. Keep the toy away from direct heat. Do not submerge the toy in water. This can damage the electronic assemblies.
BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
Requires 6 x 1.5 V AAA (LR03) batteries. Batteries are small objects. Replacement of batteries must be done by adults. Follow the polarity (+/-) diagram in the battery compartment. Promptly remove dead batteries from the toy. Dispose of used batteries properly. Remove batteries for prolonged storage. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. DO NOT incinerate used batteries. DO NOT dispose of batteries in fire, as batteries may explode or leak. DO NOT mix old and new batteries or types of batteries (i.e. alkaline/standard/rechargeable). Using rechargeable batteries is not recommended due to possible reduced performance. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Replaceable- rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged. DO NOT recharge non-rechargeable batteries. DO NOT short-circuit the supply terminals.

Batteries or battery packs must be recycled or disposed of properly. When this
product has reached the end of its useful life, it should not be disposed of
with other household waste. The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
Regulations require it to be separately collected so that it can be treated
using the best available recovery and recycling techniques. This will minimize
the impact on the environment and human health from soil and water
contamination by any hazardous substances, decrease the resources required to
make new products and avoid using up landfill space. Please do your part by
keeping this product out of the municipal waste stream! The “wheelie bin”
symbol means that it should be collected as “waste electrical and electronic
equipment”. You can return an old product to your retailer when you buy a
