Introduction
The B2 is a CD player that can hold your full library of CDs. B2 is straightforward; you can use it as a CD player by inserting a CD and pressing Play. However, loading (or ripping) the CD onto the hard disk requires only one button click and a few minutes. As you load, the names of the track, album, and artist are allocated from the internet, allowing you to search for music by name. You won’t need an internet connection because B2 has a 3.5 million CD database on its servers. At the press of a button, declutter your living area, have rapid access to any track, and play uninterrupted music.
B2 maintains an exact copy of what is on the CD using FLAC compression, which is a lossless compression technology. The 2TB model can hold 5000 CDs in FLAC format, giving you flawless duplicates of all your CDs for the rest of your life. B2 may be controlled via the front panel, remote control, web UI, or our apps. You can control the B2 from your couch thanks to the web UI and apps. Play music through Sono’s speakers in each room, with different music in each area. There are currently approximately 40,000 stations on the internet radio network. The music can be delivered to a high-end DAC or high-end audio equipment via an optical SPDIF output on the back for uncompromised audio quality. With bulky 4mm connectors, B2 has its own 15+15W power amplifier.
Bluetooth Input allows you to stream music from Spotify and other services to your phone or tablet via the B2. Bluetooth Output allows you to listen to B2 via Bluetooth speakers or headphones. B2 is made entirely of solid aluminum. An external hard disk can be used to backup and transfer music, ensuring that your music is safe. Warranty period is 12 months. HOW TO PLAY MUSIC
- On the Brennan B2 Web UI, select the YouTube panel.
- Enter a phrase from a song’s title (or lyrics or artist).
- B2 will start playing the song when you click the one you desire.
HOW TO FIND IP ADDRESS
When you connect to WIFI, the scrolling lettering on the Home screen (the one that says ‘b2 2000G’ or something similar) will display an IP address, such as WIFI 192.168. 1.127. The IP Address can be used to launch the WUI (web interface) on a computer, tablet, or phone (see Web Interface).
HOW TO RESET
Go to Settings > Maintenance > Use HDD on the front panel control. All of your music should be present after the B2 reboots into HDD mode. Now press and hold the PLAY/STOP button until the words ‘Saving’ appear quickly on the screen and the screen returns to the Home screen (the one showing the clock).
