Introduction

‘EAST olio stream is an innovative Wi-Fi Bluetooth Hi-Fi Streaming audio receiver. which is able to turn your current speakers, sound bars and home theatre speakers into a Wireless Multi-Room Sound System by connecting to your home Wi-Fi Network.

We provides iOS and Android App offers the easiest and best user-friendly experience for music streaming and multi-room sound system set up. When you add another ‘EAST receiver to your network, you can establish a connection between the different devices in Wi-Fi. You can play your music in all the rooms simultaneously or a different music in each room, as you wish.

If you don’t have a WiFi network, you can use Bluetooth to connect to your audio device.

Interface

Multi-function button:

Short press to switch mode, WIFI/BT,
Wi-Fi mode, long press 3s to enter Wi-Fi pairing mode, BT mode, long press 3s to enter BT pairing mode.

Indicator light:

Wi-Fi mode : Green
Router not connected: flashing green.
Wi-Fi network configuration mode: flashing green.
Successfully connected to the router: steady green.

BT mode: Blue
BT pairing mode: blue flashing.
BT connected device: steady blue.
Restore factory settings: green and blue display alternately.

Wiring Connection

Prerequisites

  Network

• Your network must have a Internet connection, as the device is designed to utilise free, online software updates.
• IEAST olio stream communicate via a 2.4GHz /5GHz home network with support for 802.11 b/g/n/ac/wireless technology.

Router

• High-speed DSL/cable modem, or fiber to- the-home broadband connection for proper playback of internet-based music services.
• Different routers provide different levels of performance. Please use a good wireless router to achieve the best possible performance.

iOS8cAndriod Smart Phone/Pad

• Turn on the Wi-Fi mode of the device and connect to your network.
• Turn off the vpn of the device.
• Download and install the ‘EAST app.

Search in App Store

Will add the device to the network

1. Power on the device
   

2. Launch the IEAST app and follow the instructions.

4. Important tips for device connection

The device is connected to the network via BLE

1. Open ‘EAST APP, for Android device, the system will ask for permission to use GPS data & File storage, please click accept to continue.
   This GPS permission is setup by Google for BLE usage, once setup is finish you can go to system settings and disable it, file storage permission is to let !EAST access your audio files store in your mobile.

2. Once connection is finished, it will automatically check for new updates, Please follow the prompts to update to the latest firmware.

The device is connected to the network via Direct connection

If BLE cannot find your device, APP will prompt you to setup by Wi-Fi. Please click “alternate way to setup” and do the following:

1. Allow to open the GPS of phone pad.
2. Got your phone pad Wi-Fi settings and search for IEAST olio stream xxxx Wi-Fi and connect.
3.  Go back to IEAST APP and select the router SSID you want your IEAST device connect to (enter password if required) and select continue.

Note: that the operating system of the phone or pad is Android 5.0 or above, the app will ask you if you are allowed to use the network of the ‘EAST audio system, please choose yes, if not, you may not able to set up successfully. It may also ask you to authorize other things, please choose yes or it may affect your use.

Pair with Bluetooth device

Bluetooth mode, please switch to Bluetooth via app or by key, then find Bluetooth device IEAST olio ream xxxx from your phone Bluetooth setting and pair it.

Note: The device supports the source mode memory function, which will record the source mode before the last shutdown. The source mode before the last shutdown will be saved when the machine is turned on next time.

Grouping

Group

1. From the My speakers tab/tap” a “in the upper right corner of the selected device.
2. Select the speakers you want to add to the group/than click Done.

UN Group

1. F rom the My speakers tab tap” g. “in the upper right corner of the selected group.
2. Tap the speakers you want to remove from the group, then tap Done.

Multi room only support firmware version: 4.6. xxxx and above.

Playing from app Music using airplay

2. On your iOS device, swipe  up from the bottom of the screen to open the Control Centre. Tap Air Play, and choose the device.

Important safety instructions

1. Follow all instructions.
2. Do not use this product near water.
3. Operating temperature (°C) 5-40Humidity (%) no condensation 30-90
4. Minimum distances around the product for sufficient ventilation, 10cm.
