SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The appliance is designed exclusively for private, domestic use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not suitable for commercial use.

  2. Do not use the appliance outdoors.

  3. Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.

  4. Always plug the appliance into an outlet that is earthed. Risk of electric shock!

  5. The appliance is not intended to operate with an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

  6. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges.

  7. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas, electric burner or preheated oven.

  8. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is wet, unplug it immediately.

  9. When storing the appliance, switch the appliance off and always pull the plug out of the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead).

  10. Do not pull or stretch the power cable.

  11. Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always unplug the appliance.

  12. Always unplug the appliance after usage (pull the plug itself, not the lead).

  13. Periodically check the cable for damage.
    WARNING: Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord. In order to avoid the risk of an electric shock, never try to repair the appliance by yourself. Bring it to the authorized service station for repair. Use only the original spare parts.

  14. Do not let the power cord hang off the edge of a table or bench, or come into contact with hot surfaces.

  15. If the surface is cracked, disconnect the appliance from the power supply to avoid electric shock.

  16. To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or unit in water or any other liquid.

  17. Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children.

  18. Do not let children play with the appliance.

  19. In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
    WARNING: Do not allow children to play with the foil. The danger of suffocation!

  20. Children are not allowed to use the appliance.

  21. Unplug when not in use, when adding/removing accessories and before cleaning.

  22. Do not touch the moving parts of the appliance. You should always wait until these parts stop moving.

  23. Do not release the accessories while the appliance is operating.

  24. WARNING: Do not touch the beaters with your hands or other objects (e.g. spoons) during operation. Risk of injury!

  25. To avoid splashes, always put the whisks or beaters right into the material to be beaten before starting using the appliance.

  26. Do not use the hand mixer for more than 10 minutes continuously. Allow the appliance to cool before reusing.

  27. Do not use the mixer to stir ingredients other than dough and food.

  28. The appliance can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or instructed on how to use the device safely and understand the risks involved.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Read all the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
  2. Remove the appliance from its packaging. Keep away from children.
  3. Inspect the appliance after unpacking for any visual damage. In case of any damage, do not use the appliance and contact the shop where you bought it.
  4. Before using the appliance for the first time, check that the voltage shown on the appliance rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.
  5. Make sure that the appliance only plugs into a properly grounded and properly installed socket.
  6. Place the appliance on an even surface at a safe distance away from flammable objects.
  7. Clean the beaters and dough hooks before using for the first time with warm water and washing up liquid.

NOTICE: When the appliance is used for the first time, it may emit slight odor. This is normal for almost all heating appliances and it does not affect the safety of your appliance.

HOW TO USE

  1. Place the appliance on an even surface at a safe distance away from flammable objects. Keep out of the reach of children.

  2. Insert the beaters or dough hooks into the mixer slots depending on the mixture.
    **NOTE:** Do not use a beater and a dough hook at the same time, as this may damage the appliance.

  3. Make sure the speed control switch is in the “0” position and connect the hand mixer to the power supply. Check that the voltage shown on the appliance rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.

  4. To avoid splashing, place the beaters or dough hooks inside the bowl with the mixture before operating the appliance.

  5. Set the desired speed (0-5) using the speed control switch by increasing the speed at a steady pace, starting at a low speed, and then increasing it if necessary.

  6. When you have finished stirring the mixture, select speed “0” and then remove the appliance from the power supply.

  7. After switching off the appliance, remove the mixer from the container.

TURBO FUNCTION

This appliance has a turbo function that can be used to operate the appliance briefly at the highest speed.
NOTE: Do not use the TURBO function for more than 1 minute.

REMOVAL / INSTALLATION OF ACCESSORIES

  • In order to release the accessories from the hand mixer, press the EJECT button.
  • To attach the components, slide them into the slots until they lock into place.

CLEANING AND CARE

  1. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning. The unit is easier to clean when slightly warm.
  2. Never immerse the housing of the appliance into water or place in the dishwasher.
  3. Clean beaters and dough hooks with warm water and liquid detergent.
  4. Do not use any caustic or abrasive detergents.
  5. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth only. Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for cleaning.

STORAGE

  1. Always unplug the appliance before storing it.
  2. Always make sure that the appliance is cold, dry, and clean before storing.
  3. Always store the appliance out of the reach of children.
  4. To save space, place the beater and dough hooks in the storage case. Place the mixer on top of the storage case and press lightly down until it locks into place.
  5. Always store the appliance in a safe and clean place. For the better protection of the appliance, store it in its original packaging.
