Installation Recommendations

HAZARD OF NON-DETECTION OF FIRE

  • Do not use HeatTag as a safety device. HeatTag does not replace the fire protection devices of the building.
  • The detection and communication functions of HeatTag can be deteriorated depending on its installation and use in the equipment.
  • Do not disable the other monitoring and safety devices of the equipment. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury, or equipment damage.

HAZARD OF NON OPERATION

  • Install HeatTag inside electrical panel or switchboard according to the following instructions.
  • Install the covers on the equipment.
  • Do not install HeatTag in a forced air ventilated enclosure. Failure to follow these instructions can result in the loss of detection and communication functions.
