Safety and handling
Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in fire, electric shock or other injuries. Please read these instructions before using the SpaceTrace charger.
- Handle the SpaceTrace charger with care. The SpaceTrace charger contains sensitive electronic components that can be damaged if dropped, bent, or crushed. Don’t use a damaged SpaceTrace charger.
- Place your SpaceTrace charger on a stable surface, or properly mount it to a wall. Verify proper air circulation under and around the SpaceTrace charger.
- Keep the SpaceTrace charger away from sources of liquid. Always use it indoors. Avoid explosive and other atmospheric conditions
Use
- Power the SpaceTrace charger only with the included 87W Power Adapter and USB-C Charge Cable, or with a third-party power adapter and cable compliant with applicable international and regional regulations and safety standards.
- SpaceTrace charger and power adapter may become very warm during normal use. Although they comply with standard surface temperature limits, prolonged contact with warm surfaces may cause discomfort or injury. Reduce probability of overheating with proper ventilation.
Power Adapter
- Plug the 87W Power Adapter directly into a power outlet.
- Do not use the SpaceTrace charger or its power adapter in wet locations.
- Do not use the SpaceTrace charger if the USB-C cable or power cord are damaged.
- Do not use the SpaceTrace charger if you suspect it needs service or repair.
Medical device interference
The SpaceTrace charger contains radios that transmit electromagnetic fields that can cause interference with medical devices (e.g. pacemakers, defibrillators, etc). Maintain a distance between your medical device and the SpaceTrace charger, especially if you suspect it is interfering with your medical device.
Cleaning
- To clean and disinfect the surface of the SpaceTrace charger use disinfecting wipes.
- Do not submerge a SpaceTrace charger in any liquid.
- Do not use cleaning sprays directly on the charger.
- If debris get onto the connectors, remove gently with a cotton swab.
FCC Compliance Statement
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the device. This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
