Usage Notice

Note: Please prepare a Phillips screw driver and 4pcs AAA batteries before installation.

In default setting, it can be unlocked with original password 12345 ended with”#”, any fingerprint or mechanical key.
There will be a low power alarm when voltage below 4.8V, please replace the new AAA batteries in time.
Please don’t use any corrodent material to clean lock surface.
Please use mechanical key to unlock when password and APP not work. Make sure your mechanical keys kept in outdoors safe places.
Suitable door thickness: 35 – 55mm.
Work temperature: -25

Features

The total capacity of system is 100, the fingerprint capacity is 50, the password capacity is 50, the first two are administrators.
Touching button, durable.
Support volume adjustment(Mute/Low/High) and low power alarm.
Support 6-8 password and 1 0 virtual passwords.

Installation

Installation Instructions
- It is recommended professionals to install with reference installation video.
- While installing, the door must be in half-open state until the commissioning is completed.
- While installing the front panel, the connection wire interface should be passed through the square steel hole of the lock body slowly to avoid the damage of the connection wire interface.
- After the installation is completed, check the password’ 12345#’ fingerprint, APP, key unlock, handle twist ok or not.
- If it can not work normally, please check if any improper installation or problem of power cord loose.
Open Hole
Please refer to the open hole drawing, and drill right holes on the door.
Remove The Back Panel
Remove the back panel, remove the battery cover, remove the back panel screws(M4*1 0mm)(2pcs), remove the iron plate.
Confirm The Direction of The Door
This smart lock is suitable for 4 kinds of opening directions. (Left Out/Left In/Right Out/Right In)
Install Lock Body
Choose the installation direction of the latch-bolt of the lock body by the door opening directions.
Change the direction of lock body

  *  Push the reversing block to the other side.  

  * Push the latch-bolt into the lock and turn 180 degrees.
  * Put back the reversing block, and the latch-bolt will pop up automatically.
3. Lock Installation
  * Fixing The Front Panel a. Fix 2 connection columns.
  * Rotate the square steel and let the direction dot face up.
    * Left open: the dot face · L ·.
    *  Ritht open: the dot face ‘R’. 
  *  Make the connection wire go through the square steel hole.
  * Make the connection column and the square steel match with the correct holes on lock body, fix the front panel on the outdoors.
  * e. Make the square steel in the middle of the iron plate.
  * f. Fix 2 connection column screws (M4*35mm).
4. Fixing The Back Panel
  * Make the connection wire go through the square steel hole on the back panel.
  * Fix the back panel with 2 back panel  screws(M4*10mm).
  * Shake the handles and make sure them installed well.
  * Connect well the connection wire with the corresponding interface of the back panel.
  * Install 4 AAA batteries.
  * Install the battery cover.
  *  Fix the battery cover screw(M3*6mm).
5. Fixing The Lock Cylinder and The Lock Cylinder Cover
  * The key hole of the lock cylinder is placed panel end.  

  * Shake the lock cylinder to ensure that the lock cylinder is securely fastened.
  * F1x 2connect1oncolumns.
  * Fix 2 connection column screws (M4*35mm).

Put the lock body into the door frame and tighten 4 fixing screws.
Commissioning
- Please always keep the door in half-open status when commissioning.
- Check the following function can be achieved or not.
- Press down the front handle, latch-bolt/dead-bolt remains in locking status.
- Press down the front handle, latch-bolt/dead-bolt retract in unlocking status.
- Lift up the front and back handle, dead-bolt stretches out in any status.
- Verify other function includes Self-lock, Anti-peeping password, “Set” button, APP work well or not.

Using The Lock

Add Administrator (The first two are administrators, the first is password)

Long press ‘#’ or short press ‘SET’ button (on the back panel) .
Add administrator password (6-8 digits) ended with # (The same password, 2 times)
The voice prompts ·successful’, then we can continue to add the 2nd administrator.
Add administrator’s fingerprint(8 limes), or password (6-8 numbers) ended with ‘#'(the same password, 2 times).

Notes:

In order to improve the fingerprint recognition rate, the same finger should be pressed 8 times on different parts of the finger until the whole fingerprint and the outer ring have been collected.
the passwords can only be combined between the numbers 1 and 5.

Add User

Long press ‘#’ or short press ‘SET’ button, the voice prompts ‘please verify administrator’.
Verify the administrator, and the voice prompts ·successful, please add user’.
Add user’s fingerprint(8 limes), or password (6-8 numbers) ended with ‘#’ (the same password, 2 times).
The voice prompts ·successful’.

Delete User

Long press ‘#’ or short press ‘SET’ button, the voice prompts ‘please verify administrator’.
Verify the administrator, and the voice prompts ·successful, please add user’.
Long press ‘#’ again.
Press T to delete all user fingerprints, press ·2· to delete all user passwords, press ·3· to delete all users.
The voice prompts ·successful’.

Note: The operation can only delete users, can not delete administrators.
Only resetting the lock can delete the administrators.

Modify Password

Press ‘5″#’, the voice prompts ‘please input old password’.
Enter the old password which needs to be modified, the voice will prompt ‘New password’.
Enter new password followed by ‘#’, the voice will prompt ·successful’.

Note: The previous password is invalid after modification.
The administrator password cannot be modified.

Reset Lock

Long press ‘SET’ button with 3 seconds, the button light flashes.
Verify the administrator, and the system restores to the factory default settings. (The initial password is · 12345′)
After the reset, all the information are removed(including the administrator).
Please add a new administrator immediately.

APP Installation and Network Configuration

(Make sure you add administrator before network configuration)

Make the Bluetooth of your cellphone open.
Search and download ‘Tuya Smart· in APP store.
Install and open the APP, register and login with cellphone number.
Network Configuration
APP: Click ‘My family’ Add Device’/’Auto Scan restart Scanning·, or click ‘My family’/’Add Device’/’Security & Sensor’/’Add Manually’/ ‘Lock(Bluetooth)’/’Confirm the voice guide’.
Lock: Short press ‘3″#’, verify the administrator.
APP: It will automatic find the Lock, click it to start network configuration.
The voice prompts ‘add Successful’.
If the network configuration fails, please try once again.

Notes:

Make sure the phone is within 15 meters of the lock and the Bluetooth open.
APP remote unlock: Long press ‘ 1tJ1 ‘ to activate the lock.

Other Function

Self-lock of The Password: It will be locked 180 seconds when entering wrong password 5 times continuously.
Release Self-lock: Unlock with registered fingerprint once.
Self-lock of The Fingerprint: II will be locked 180 seconds when entering wrong fingerprint 5 times continuously.
Release Self-lock: Unlock with registered password once.
Low Power Alarm: When the battery power is lower than 4.8V, the lock will prompt ‘The battery is use up, please replace if, please replace with 4 new batteries in time.
Anti-peeping Password: Random password added before or after the correct password, it also can unlock as long as the real password keep continuously correct. (Anti-peeping password can not exceed 10 digits)
Volume Switch: Press ‘3″3″3’ ‘#’, you can switch the volume(Mute/Low/High).
Language Switch: Press ‘3″1″1’ ‘#’, you can switch Chinese and English.
Regularly Open Mode: After the administrator unlocked, the light of ‘2″5’will be on, press ‘SET’ of the back panel now, the lock will be set in the regularly open mode.

Note: Anybody can open the lock directly by pressing the handle in the regularly open mode. Be careful! Release Regularly Open Mode: Unlock with registered user once.
