SHAVING TIPS (DRY)

  • Wait at least 15 minutes after getting up before shaving, to ensure your face is free of puffiness that may be present from sleeping.
  • Ensure your skin is dry and free of oils. Try using Remington’s FaceSaver pre- shave powder to help the shaver glide across the skin.
  • Always hold the shaver at a right angle to the skin so that all three heads are touching the skin with equal pressure.
  • Stretch skin with the free hand so hairs stand upright, making it easier for them to enter the cutting chamber.
  • Use moderate to slow circular stroking movement.
  • The use of short circular motions in stubborn areas may obtain a closer shave, especially along the neck and chin line.
  • Do not press hard against the skin in order to avoid damage to the rotary heads.

We recommend that you use your new shaver daily for up to four weeks to allow time for your hair and skin to become accustomed to the new shaving system

It is very important to replace your head and cutters when necessary to ensure a close, comfortable shave without irritation. We recommend they be replaced every 12 months. Here are some signs of head and cutter wear, indicating that replacement is needed:

  • IRRITATION: As the heads get excessively worn you may experience some skin irritation. This would be especially noticeable when you apply moisturizing lotion.
  • PULLING: When the cutters wear you may feel a sense of pulling and a loss of closeness when you shave. This is an indication that it is time to replace your heads and cutters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a good razor to start my teenager out with?****

Yes, it’s the best electric razor I’ve ever had! It shaves like no other. I’ve never had any other electric razor that shaved as good as the Remington R3-4110A! I recommend it.

Battery life ??****

Just asked my hubby about his and he said he charges about every 5-6 weeks. He shaves his face and head M-F and Sundays.

Can be it used for bald head to give like shiny scalp??****

If you want something like that from Amazon. Look under professional hair trimmers. You need a WAHL PROFESSIONAL HAIR CLIPPER. With the different length attachments. That will take your hair down to a shadow. The use fine trimmer. If I were you and had hair even if you are going bald. Go have it taken off. There are hand held razors that shave your head when bald. Most regular BARBER shops can get those .

Does this razor have a pop-up trimmer?****

Yes it does, on the backside – it works pretty well; my only issue with it is that the pop-up trimmer doesn’t like to stay up, it likes to collapse – you can easily hold it up with your index finger, though.

does the lithium battery come with the shaver****

I owned this thing. Do not get it. I charged it once, I did the full 8 hour charge, it died and then never held a charge again. Invest into a better one.

does this shaver come with the charger****

If new from the factory, a charger should be in the box.

Will this work for everyone ?****

Works very good.

Does the entire head rotate?****

each blade rotates. but entire head does not rotate.

What country is this Razor made in?****

Not sure where it was made. It is not worth it; it lost its charge and would no longer hold one on the 3rd day of use. I wouldn’t recommend now buy it ever again.

I have a Remington shaver model: R-5150, need the shaver head cutters, are this shaver head cutters available?.****

Yes the replacement part that you need is a SPRCDN. These are available on many websites including www.remingtonproducts.com.

How do you know when the shaver is fully charged****

The R3-4110 has a 30 minute run time and a 16 hour charge time. An LED will light to indicate charging but will not turn off when complete on this model. You cannot hurt the shaver by overcharging.

Is it waterproof?****

They say it does, but I’m not Sure. you should buy a more expensive One. This doesn’t do a good job.

Is this a dry or wet shaver?****

I use it as dry and after more than 6 mo it works fine. Charge lasts for about a week. Does not have to be cleaned out daily.

Can you give recommendations of how to use this?****

You have to charge it, then turn on and place on face rotate in circular motion. This is a man’s razor. One we bought did not last very long broke right away.

does it come with a charger?****

Yes, it comes with a charger. It works really well.
