Getting started on the JadeStick 4G LTE Dongle

  • Insert SIM card

Open the back case and insert a 2FF SIM card into the SIM Slot.
Note: Make sure the cut side of the SIM card is facing away from the device.

  • Adjust the Antenna

Adjust the antenna upwards to a 90° – 110° range from the Jadestick body

  • Connect

Plugging in the device
Plug JadeStick into a USB port on your industrial equipment or other industrial devices Wait for 30-45 seconds until the device is powered on completely. Then you can access the internet. Note JadeStick supports:

  • Windows 7/8/10

  • MAC OS 10.10 or newer

  • Android* 5.5 or newer

  • Linux * kernel version 5.0.2 or newer

  • JadeStick does not guarantee to support all devices running Android or Linux.

To access the advanced settings, make sure your device is connected to JadeStick. Then browse 192.168.225.1 and input Username: admin Password: admin, and click ”Login”

Warnings

  1. Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred, microwave, incinerate, paint, or insert foreign objects into the 4G dongle.
  2. Avoid contact between the 4G dongle with Water and Wet locations. Do not use this 4G dongle in the rain, near washbasins or other wet locations. Take care not to spill any food or liquid on this 4G dongle.
  3. If you use any other personal medical device, consult the device manufacturer or your physician to determine if it is adequately shielded from external RF energy. Turn off this 4G dongle in healthcare facilities when regulations are posted instructing you to do so. Hospitals and healthcare facilities may use equipment that is sensitive to external RF energy.
  4. Keep this 4G dongle within acceptable temperatures. Operate this 4G dongle in a place where the temperature is always between 0° and 35° C (32° to 95° F). Store this 4G dongle in a place where the temperature is always between -20° and 45° C (-4° to 113° F). Don’t leave this 4G dongle in your car, since temperatures in parked cars can exceed this range. When using this 4G dongle, it is normal for this 4G dongle to get warm. The exterior of this 4G dongle functions as a cooling surface that transfers heat from inside the unit to the cooler air outside.
  5. This device is limited to being used in industrial equipment and automation equipment, such as industrial air compressors, central air conditioners, outdoor billboards and other industrial use environments, provide 4G data access services for these devices, the use distance from the human body is far greater than 20cm, and the variable angle antenna is only for Convenient for installation and debugging of industrial equipment

The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirements. The SAR limit of USA (FCC) is 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue. Device types JADESTICK with model UD-100 ( FCC ID: 2AWB8JADEUD100 ) have also been tested against this SAR limit. The highest reported SAR values for Max.SAR is 1.49W/kg. This device was tested for typical Max.SAR operations with the back of the handset kept 5mm from the body. The use of accessories that do not satisfy these requirements may not comply with FCC RF exposure requirements and should be avoided.
