Overview
Thank you for purchasing the Soulink headband developed and manufactured by Neural FLEX. This 4 channels EEG (electroencephalography) headband measures pre-frontal brain signals and transmits collected data to mobile devices via Bluetooth, giving you continuous and real-time feedback in the dedicated App.
This manual describes the specifications, communication configuration, typical application of the product. Before using this product, please read this manual carefully to fully understand the features and precautions of the product and ensure safe use.

Communication Configuration
Step 1: Turn on the device
Short press the power button until you see a flickering blue LED light
indicating power on.
Step 2: Enable Bluetooth
Turn on your mobile device. Go to Settings and turn on Bluetooth.
Step 3: Pair Soulink with a device
Wait for the name of your headband to appear on your Bluetooth menu, and then
tap it. The headband is connected to the mobile device when the blinking blue
LED light turns to stable blue light.
Prepare to use
Step 1: Pair your headband with a device
Step 2: Clean your forehead and skin behind ears with an alcohol wipe;
Step 3: Put on the headband like a sport headband, make sure the reference sensor touches your skin instead of hair.
Step 4: Launch the dedicated App and start tracking your brain signal.
Step 5: Short press the power button and turn off the headband after use.

Special Notes
Safety operation
- This product is non-waterproof, please prohibit the use or storage in the humid environment or underwater.
- Prevent prolonged exposure to sunlight. Do not use or wear this product under high temperature environment for a long time.
- Keep away from oil, water, and corrosive substances
- Unauthorized disassembly would affect after-sales maintenance.
- Handle gently and avoid dropping and sudden impact.
- Please charge with a standard 5V charger.
Operation cautions
- Placement: The headband is designed to be flexible to fit into different head shapes, but still, it should be protected against excessive stretching or bending to prevent unnecessary distortion or damage. If not used for a long time, please place the headband in the original package for better protection.
- Allergic to metals : The forehead electrodes are made of compound metal material, which might probably induce skin allergies symptoms for sensitive skin. If you have an allergic history to any sort of metal, please use with caution.
- Bluetooth: During use please make sure your headband is within the range of Bluetooth connection (10 m), and there are no obstacles between your headband and the connected device, including the human body, walls, corners, etc.
- Cleaning and maintenance ： Turn off the headband, and disconnect connections and cables from other devices before cleaning and maintenance. You can clean this headband with a disposable alcohol wipe or a soft dry cloth. Do not use other chemicals or detergents to clean this product. Do not use sharp objects such as blades or pins to rub delicate parts such as the forehead electrodes and reference electrodes to avoid scratch or damage.
Warranty Agreement
The warranty period of this product is 12 months (subject to the information indicated by the purchasing date on the order, please provide serial number of the product on the package when the warranty is provided).
During the warranty period, Neural FLEX will be responsible for free maintenance (not including component replacement) or replacement (within seven days of your product delivery date) if the product fails or is damaged under normal use in accordance with the user manual. Within the warranty period, maintenance will be charged for the damages due to lack of protection or improper use and unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification.
