SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble,
operate or install the product.
WARNING
Turn off electricity at main fuse box (or circuit breaker box) before
beginning installation by removing fuse (or switching off circuit breaker).
Be careful not to damage or cut the wire insulation (covering) during
fixture installation. Do not permit wires to contact any surface having a
sharp edge. To do so may damage or cut the wire insulation, which could cause
serious injury or death from electric shock.
LED electronics can be damaged by electro static discharge (ESD)shock.
Before installation, discharge yourself
by touching a grounded bare metal surface to remove this hazard. To avoid
damage, do not touch the LED module.
CAUTION
- All electrical connections must be in agreement with local codes, ordinances or the national electric code (NEC). Contact your municipal building department to learn about your local codes, permits and/or inspections.
- Risk of fire – most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated for 140°F/60ºC. Consult a qualified electrician before installation.
- Do not connect this fixture to an electrical system that does not provide a means for equipment grounding. Never use a fixture in a two-wire system that is not grounded. If you are not sure your lighting system has a grounding means, do not attempt to install this fixture.
- Contact a qualified, licensed electrician for information with regards to proper grounding methods as required by the local electrical code in your area.
PREPARATION
Before beginning assembly, installation or operation of product, make sure all
parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and diagram on
previous page. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble,
install or operate the product. Contact customer service for replacement
parts.
Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Screwdriver, Phillips Screwdriver,
Pliers, Electrical Tape, Wire Cutters, Safety Glasses, Ladder.
This fixture is dimmable with a forward phase electronic dimmer. Dimmers
tested to be compatible with this
fixture are the Lutron: TGCL-153PH, MACL-153MH, SCL-153P, DVWCL-153PH.
If you are unfamiliar with electrical installation, it is recommended to use a
qualified electrician for your installation(s).
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box.

Attach two short screws (CC) to the holes on the mounting strap (AA). Thread them in part way: 2 to 3 turns only.

Attach the mounting strap (AA) to the outlet box using two mounting screws (BB).

Connect fixture black wire to house black wire and fixture white wire to house white wire using wire connectors (DD) provided. Connect the copper wire or green/yellow wire on the light fixture to the mounting strap (AA) by securing it with the preinstalled grounding screw, then connect it to the house grounding wire with wire connectors (DD). Tuck all the wires into outlet box.

Remove the insulated paper before installing the fixture.

Attach the ceiling pan(A) to the monnting strap (AA) by inserting two screw (CC) heads into the key holes and rotate the ceiling pan (A) until it is locked in place. Then secure the screws tightly.

Attach the plastic shade (B) to the ceiling pan (A) by aligning studs and slots, then turn it clockwise until it is locked in place.
Adjustng the color Temperature of the Light
Customizing the color temperature of LED light by moving toggle switch.
- Move the toggle switch to 3000K, the color temperature is set at 3000K.
- Move the toggle switch to 4000K, the color temperature is set at 4000K.
- Move the toggle switch to 5000K, the color temperature is set at 5000K.
Notice: Please move the toggle switch to make your selection before attaching
plastic shade (B) to the ceiling pan (A).
CHANGING BATTERIES
Replacing Battery Steps:
- Remove the battery cover from the fixture with screwdriver.
- Replace the old battery with a new battery 7188BB.
- Re-attach the battery cover to the fixture with screwdriver.
OPERATING THE DOWNLIGHT AND BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS
INSTRUCTIONS:
- The “Red” indicator light is on when the battery is charging, and will turn off when the battery is fully charged.
- The “Blue” indicator light shows the following status:
“Slow Flash” – Awaiting to connect to the device.
“Stays on” – Device connected.
“Fast Flash” – Battery Power is Low.
“Blue Light Off” – Battery is flat.
There’s a “Reset” button on the light.
Please use a unwound paper clip to press it.
When the button is pressed, the current Bluetooth connection will be
disconnected and await for new device to set up connection
Bluetooth Connection Steps:
- Once turn on power, the Bluetooth Speakers are enabled and ready to connect.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smart device.
- Wait for the smart device to detect the ceiling light and then select it to pair the device to the speakers. When successfully paired, the speaker will response “Connected”.
- Play music from your device while connected to the ceiling light to enjoy sound from the Bluetooth speakers.
- Disconnect the ceiling light from Bluetooth on your smart device, or disable Bluetooth functionality on your smart device when sound is not wanted from the ceiling light speakers.
NOTICE :
- Bluetooth enabled smart devices typically have a range of approximately 33 ft. (10 m). Attempting to pair your smart device to the Bluetooth speakers beyond the intended range can result in poor audio quality, drop-outs, or failure to connect.
- Only one device can be connected to the Bluetooth speakers at a time.
- The speaker includes a battery (18650 type 2000mAh). The speakers can continue working even turn off the light by dimmer or switch. If the speaker battery run out of power, it will blue indicator flashes quickly, please turn on the light right away and the battery will start charging automatically.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
To clean, turn off and wipe with a damp, non-abrasive cloth.
TROUBLESHOOTING

The Bluetooth speakers will not pair with a smart device.
| The smart device is out of range of the Bluetooth speakers.| Be sure the
ceiling light is within 33 ft. (10m) of the smart device.
The smart device is not discoverable.| Turn on “Discoverable” mode on the
device to allow the ceiling light and smart device to recognize each other
Bluetooth speaker reset / interference is causing confusion with the
connection.| The Speaker will be in “Reset” mode when run out of battery and
press “Reset” button on the light. In this case, please remove ceiling light
from the smart device paired list and rediscover it. Then pair the Bluetooth
speaker with smart device again.
Dead battery| Turn on the light right away and the battery will be
charging automatically .Then pair the Bluetooth speaker with smart device
again.
There is no sound or poor sound quality from the speakers| Music setting on
the smart device need to be adjusted.| Turn music on from the smart device.
Turn volume up from the smart device.
The Bluetooth device is too far away from the ceiling light speakers|
Move the device closer to the ceiling light and speakers.
Interference is causing confusion with the connection| Please reset speaker
first.
Re-pair the device with ceiling light.
When successfully paired, the speakers will indicate “Connected”.
Power off other Bluetooth devices within a
33 ft. proximity range. Only one device can be connected to the ceiling light and speaker at a time.

FIVE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY:
If, during normal use, this PATRIOT LIGHTING lighting fixture breaks or fails
due
to a defect in material workmanship within five (5) years from the date of
original purchase, simply bring this lighting
fixture with the original sales receipt back to your nearest MENARDS retail
store. At its discretion, PATRIO LIGHTING agrees to have the product or any
defective part(s) repaired or replaced with the same or similar PATRIOT
LIGHTING product or part free of charge, within the stated warranty period,
when returned by the original purchaser with original sales receipt. This
warranty; (1) excludes expendable parts including but not limited to light
bulbs; (2) does not cover damage that has resulted from abuse or misuse; and
(3) does not cover any losses, labor, injuries to persons/property or costs.
This warranty does give you specific legal rights and you may have other
rights, which vary from state to state.
