Please place the antenna as HIGH as possible indoors or outdoor to receive more channels!!!

Antenna installation

Antenna and base mounting (The antenna is mounted vertically and horizontally in the same way)

Option1:Outdoor (Installation of antenna base and pole(Recommend)

Option2:Indoor
(1) On the wall or near the window (Recommend)

How to connect the antenna to TV?

Connected to Set TopBox

  1. Connect F or IEC connectors to AN/IN ports of set-top box or HDTV.
  2. Power the antenna by plugging the USB connector into a charging port on the HDTV or set-top box or into a wall outlet with one power adapter(no included).
  3. If the receiving effect is not good, you can adjust the position and direction of the antenna.

Notice: lf the TV can’t receive any TV programs, please check the following points.
(1) If the antenna is connected to the TV, make sure your TV comes with an HDTV tuner. (2) Adjust the installation direction and position of the antenna. (3) Check to see if your geographical location exceeds signal coverage.

Remark:

  1. Reception quality and the numbers of channels received are dependent on multiple factors like distance from the TV broadcast tower, broadcast power, line of sight, terrain, metal construction materials, and other environmental factors.
  2. Visit NoCable.org,DtVGovMaps.com,dtv.gov/maps,TVFool.or other official tv signal websites to see a list of channels that may be available in your area.

  1. Please make sure your TV has an HDTV Tuner, if not, kindly suggest you buy a Digital Converter Box.
  2. Not all digital signals are High Definition. Ensure you have a Digital HD receiver otherwise, no HD channels can be viewed.
  3. Please try to put the antenna in a higher location, like on a wall, better close to a window and no obstacle outside, trees, buildings, etc Recommend mounting it to the window for best result.
  4. Again turn around the antenna to find the best direction. Always rescan for channels after moving the antenna.
  5. If the received signal is not good, try changing the antenna direction, whether the installation direction is horizontal or vertical. and then rescan the channel.
  6. Tv reception capacity depends on the distance between your home, transmitting tower, and surrounding environments.
  7. A reception will vary based on factors like geography and location of the broadcast signal; antenna hills, buildings, and even tall trees can impact reception.
  8. Mobile homes with metal roofs and/or awnings will not benefit from this antenna.
  9. Keep the antenna away from any sources of interference: keep the antenna away from those big power consumption devices, such as air conditioners elevator, hairdryer,s, and microwave ovens. etc.
  10. If you live in an area that is near the transmitter, there is no need to boost the signal strength. If you live in a rural area where the signal is weak or intermittent you may want to use an amplifier kit to enhance your reception.
  11. You need to retune your Free view TVs and digital receiver from time to time to ensure you are receiving all available services. Retuning takes only a few minutes and can be done with your remote control.
  12. This digital HDTV antenna is intended for indoor or outdoor use.
