AIRBTN20 Buttons Air X Wireless Earbuds
What’s in the box
On & Off
- Your earphones will power up automatically once taken out of the charging case;
- And will power off automatically and start charging after returning to the case.
Note: Before using the earphones for the first time, please charge the charging case and earphones.
Pairing
- When taking your earphones out of the charging case, the red and white LED indicators on the earphones will flash alternately with a voice prompt of “Ready for pairing”. Then, your\ earphones will enter pairing mode;
- Turn on your mobile’s Bluetooth to find “BUTTONS Air X” on the list of Bluetooth] devices and tap “Connect”;
- The system pops up a dialog box stating “Bluetooth] Pairing Request”. Press the “Pair” button, and the earphone LED indicator will turn white and flash slowly with a voice prompt of “Connected”, which indicates that the earphonesare connected.
Note
- After the earphones are connected, two “BUTTONS Air X” devices will appear on the list of paired devices;
- If the LED indicator turns to white and flashes rapidly with a long beep sound, the pairing has failed. You must put your earphones back into the charging case and repeat the above procedures;
- After the first connection, the earphones will automatically connect to the last connected device the next time;
- The earphones can also be used separately when next connected.
Smart Noise Cancellation
- BUTTONS Air X Earphones are configured with three modes (ANC, ambient sound, and standard), and you can switch between them as needed.
- ANC Mode: this mode achieves a noise reduction up to 35dB, eliminating most noise interference at low-frequency bands, and giving the user a quiet listening experience;
- Ambient Sound Mode: in this mode, ambient sound is collected and played in the ears to improve the perception of the external environment so that the ambient sound outside the ears can be clearly heard;
- Standard Mode: in this mode, the active noise cancellation and ambient sound functions are disabled, and the earphones are only used as TWS earphones.
- Mode Switch: After connecting and wearing both earphones, tap the touch panel on the left earphone to switch between ANC / ambient sound / standard modes.
- Enter ANC Mode: your earphones issue a single beep tone and/or a voice prompt of “ANC on”;
- Enter Ambient Sound Mode: your earphones issue two beep tones and/or a voice prompt of “Ambient sound on”;
- Enter Standard Mode: your earphones issue three beep tones and/or a voice prompt of “Ambient sound off”;
Note
- The default mode of the earphones is ANC mode;
- Mode switch cannot be performed when only one earphone is used.
Music Control
Play/Pause
- Using both earphones: Tap the touch panel on the right-side earphone one time to pause & play music
- Using one earphone: Tap the touch panel on the earphone one time to pause & play music
Track Switch
- Previous: Double-tap the touch panel on the left earphone
- Next: Double-tap the touch panel on the right earphone
Volume Control
- Volume Up: Press and hold the touch panel on the right earphone forls m HoLD +
- Volume Down: Press and hold the touch panel on m HOLD the left earphone for 1s
Note: The system will issue two beeps when the volume is adjusted to the maximum or minimum.
Call Control
Answer Calls
- Using both earphones: Tap the touch panel on the right earphone one time to answer a call
- Using one earphone: Tap the touch panel on the earphone one time to answer a call
- Reject Calls: To reject a call, double-tap the touch panel on either earphone
- End Calls: To end a call, tap the touch panel on either earphone during the call.
Call Volume Control
- Volume Up: Press and hold the touch panel on the right earphone for 1s
- Volume Down: Press and hold the touch panel on the left earphone for 1s
Voice Assistant
- To enable the voice assistant, tap the touch panel on either earphone for three times.
Wearing Detection & Sleep Mode
Wearing Detection
While music is played, the music will automatically pause when you take off either one or both earphones and will resume when you put on the earphone(s) again. During a phone call, the telephone receiver will be enabled when you take off both earphones, and the earphone speakers will be enabled when you put on either or both earphones.
Note: Touch control is not supported if your earphones are detected not be worn.
Sleep Mode
- Enter Sleep Mode: The earphones will automatically enter sleep mode in case of failing] to pair with a Bluetooth device, being taken off and not used, or being out of bluetooth range for certain duration;
- Exit Sleep Mode: Put your earphones back into the charging case, and then take out again to exit sleep mode.
Pair a new device
Here are the steps to follow when pairing your earphones with a new device: Put your earphones into the charging case, and wait until the charging LED indicators on the earphones are on, then immediately press and hold the touch panel on either earphone for 5s to take out the earphone;] Your earphones will automatically enter,m the mandatory pairing mode, and you may pair with a device using the steps described in the “Paring” section.
Factory Reset
If your earphones fail to detect Bluetooth signals or connect via Bluetooth and other normal operations cannot be restored, follow these steps:
- Put your earphones into the charging case and wait until the charging LED indicators on the earphones are on, then rapidly and successively tap the touch panels on both earphones for 8 times, and take them out of the case;
- The LED indicators on both earphones turn red and slowly flash for 3 times, keep the two earphones close to each other for 10s;
- If the LED indicators on both earphones turn white and flash slowly, means the factory reset is succeeded.
Note
- If the indicators on both earphones fail to slowly flash 3times in red simultaneously, in step 2, repeat step 1 until they do so;
- Before factory reset, you are advised to ignore or delete “BUTTONS Air X” devices on the Bluetooth list of connected devices.

Charge the charging case
- Please only use the BUTTONS charging cable (USB Type
- A-Type C) provided by the original manufacturer for the charging case.
- Charging: LED indicators on the charging case turn green and flash;
- Charge complete: LED indicators on the charging case are off;
- Charge Fault: LED indicators on the charging case turn red and rapidly flash.
Note
- The above light indication only applies to charging the charging case separately;
- When the charging case cover is opened, the LED indicator turns red and is constantly on, which signifies low battery of the charging case;
- Please use a standard 5V1A charger for this product, as those chargers out of specification may damage the device.
Eartips
- Select proper ear tips and wear them as shown in the picture.

BUTTONS Limited Warranty
Important Notice: By using your Buttons earphones (the “Product”), you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this Buttons Limited Warranty (“Warranty”). If you do not agree to the terms of the Warranty, do not use the Product and return it within the return period stated in BUTTONS’ return policy.
Who is Covered by the Warranty?
- Only the end-user who purchases the product from an authorized dealer of BUTTONS in the region or country in which the end-user is located (“end-user”) is eligible for the Limited Warranty.
Limited Warranty:
Subject to the terms and conditions hereof, BUTTONS warrants for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user (“Warranty Period”) that the product will function without material defects in design, materials, and workmanship under normal and customary consumer usage and conditions and under any BUTTONS written guidelines, requirements or instructions, including, for example, environmental and storage requirements. Any nonconformity will be reported to BUTTONS in a,form and with supporting information reasonably requested by BUTTONS to enable it to verify, diagnose, and correct the nonconformity.
Warranty Conditions and Exclusions
The Warranty is valid only if: (i) the original receipt issued to the original end-user by an BUTTONS authorized dealer, specifying the date of purchase and serial number, is presented with the product to be repaired or replaced; (ii) none of the seals or serial numbers on the face of the product have been tampered with, removed, or defaced; and (iii) the product has not been altered, modified, damaged, abused or neglected in any manner by the end-user or user or anyone else. The Warranty shall not apply to (a) consumable parts, such as batteries that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (b) damage of appearance, including but not limited to, scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports, as well as normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the device; and (c) use of the product in combination with any thirdparty devices or products that have not been provided or recommended by BUTTONS.
What will BUTTONS do?
If, after due examination, BUTTONS concludes in its sole discretion that the product has failed to satisfy the Warranty during the Warranty Period, BUTTONS or its authorized service provider will, at BUTTONS’ discretion, either repair or replace the product in accordance with the conditions stipulated herein. This section states End-user’s sole and exclusive remedy, and BUTTONS’ sole and exclusive liability, for any breach of the Warranty by BUTTONS with respect to the Product. If BUTTONS or its authorized service provider repairs or replaces the product (such repaired or replaced product, the “Replacement”), the Replacement shall be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period or for ninety (90) days from the date of repair or replacement, whichever is longer. Repair or replacement may involve the use of functionally equivalent used, previously installed, or reconditioned units or parts. The parts or components that were replaced will become the property of BUTTONS.
All warranty returns must express to company’s designated address (Address: Genesis Beijing, Room 903, West Tower, No. 8 Xinyuan South Road, Chaoyang district, Beijing. Tel: 86-010-6506 1656), and the following information must be provided:
- Original purchase receipt, package and accessories
- Model number, color, and size
- Serial number
- Your contact information (name and phone number)
The Product must be returned with freight prepaid. If BUTTONS determines that a Product returned by an End-user does not comply with the warranty set forth herein, then the End-user will also bear BUTTONS’ cost of shipping the Product back to the End-user. The Warranty is in addition to other statutory rights and remedies the End-user may have under applicable laws in which the product is sold to End-user is located outside the United States. To obtain any applicable statutory rights or related warranty information or service in such cases, please first contact the dealer from which you purchased the Product or the distributor that supplied the Product.

The limited warranty set forth herein is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties or conditions relating to the product, and buttons expressly disclaims all other warranties and conditions, whether express,] implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, non- infringement, fitness for a particular purpose, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade and against hidden] defects, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
