40-C80 80W Battery Charger
Statement
This leaflet is used to add a new charger type of 40-C80.

Battery charger safety
WARNING: Read all safety warnings and all instructions in the Operator’s
manual. Failure to obey the warnings and instructions may result in electrical
shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
CAUTION: Do not use other battery chargers than the one supplied for your
product. Only use QC80/40-C80 chargers when you charge BLi replacement
batteries.
Operation
To connect the battery charger
- Connect the battery charger to the voltage and frequency that is specified on the rating plate.
- Put the plug in a grounded socket outlet.
Note: The battery does not charge if the battery temperature is more than
50 °C/122 °F. If the temperature is more than 50 °C/122 °F, the battery
charger makes the battery become cool.
To charge the battery
Note: Charge the battery if it is the first time that you use it. A new
battery is only 30% charged.
- Connect the battery to the battery charger. (Fig. 2)
- Make sure that the green charging light on the battery charger comes on. That means that the battery is connected correctly to the battery charger. (Fig. 3)
- When all LEDs on the battery come on, the battery is fully charged. (Fig. 4)
- To disconnect the battery charger from the main socket, pull the plug. Do not pull the cable.
- Disconnect the battery from the battery charger.
