- Before using, the product should be fully inspected to confirm that the battery is in good condition and the power capacity is sufficient. And confirm that the propellers and thrusters are running and functioning normally.
- Before using the product, you should fully understand the water area you want to enter. Ensure that you are swimming and diving in the appropriate water area with the water area management authority.
- Always pay attention to the surrounding water area during use to ensure that there is no danger of collision between boats and swimmers.
- To ensure safety, users shall be either wearing life jackets or equipped with life-saving equipment under any circumstances.
- Always remove the battery from the product before transporting or carrying the product by air, and store the battery separately in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Do not put your fingers into the propeller. Do not attach clothing or other objects near the propeller.
- Do not wear loose clothing or devices that are easily sucked into the propeller by water.
- Wear a swimming hat when using this product, and pay attention to people with long hair to avoid twisting hair or clothing into the propeller.
- When using this product, always pay attention to the battery power and make sure to return before battery exhaustion.
- Don’t let your face or mask against the rear of the propeller.

Please fully charge the batteries of the power system and the control handle.

Do not take alcohol or medication before or during using this product.

Try to use this product in an open area. To avoid danger, don’t let clothes, algae, ropes, shark prevention nets, shells, sand or other debris in the water be twisted into the propeller.

Do not replace the battery in water, replace the battery in a dry environment, and ensure that the device and hands are dry.

To protect the service life of the motor, don’t run it continuously for more than the 30S in air. If there is an abnormal state (such as the smell of burning), release the switch
immediately to stop the machine and cut off the power supply at once. -
Do not try this product directly on the beach to avoid sand, shells or other debris getting into the propeller.

The surface of the product should not be in contact with volatile or acidic substances such as gasoline or rubber water, or sharp objects.

Do not place heavy objects on the product.

Do not throw the battery into fire. When the product is not in use, please prevent it from direct sunlight. High temperatures can damage the battery and can cause an explosion or leakage.

Do not use this product beyond its specified limit depth (5m).

There should be adequate lighting when diving in dark waters or at night.

This product is not intended for use in water areas with mixed sand or similar physical properties.

Don’t use it when the machine malfunctions.

When not using this product, be sure to take it out of the water.

The Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit is a brand-new assistance product launched by Sublue for diving, swimming, and water enthusiasts worldwide. It has three speeds and can be freely switched between fast and slow speeds, realizing an all-around upgrade of power, performance, and experience. The Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit adopts Sublue’s self-developed high- efficiency power system and wireless control technology, innovatively completes the modular design, realizes the flexible assembly of components, is convenient to carry, and meets the diversified needs of single-push and dual- push assistance.

Preparation before the First Use
1 Unpacking for Inspection
Check appearance
After unpacking the equipment, please carefully check whether there are any
problems such as cracks in the body shell, falling off of the protective
cover, and abrasion of the appearance.
Check functions
- Check whether the power system can be started and networked normally*, start the thruster after networking, and check whether the propeller is running normally;
- Check whether the control handle can be started and networked normally*, press the start button after networking, check whether the start button is stuck, whether it can normally control the starting and shutdown of the power system’s propeller, and check whether the speed levels can be switched normally.
For the operation method, please refer to the relevant content in the following instructions.
If you find any problems when unpacking, don’t use it, and please contact Sublue After-sale Service Center or its authorized service center. Do not run the product for more than 30 seconds without water.
The control handle and power system charging
The control handle and power system are embedded with a magnetic charging head, which can be charged with the magnetic charging cable provided by Sublue. Please use an adapter with a charging voltage of 5V and an output current of 1A and above.

Instructions for Assembly
Assembly of Power System and Handle Bracket
- Install the control handle on the oar with a strap.
- Install the paddle board bracket and power system on the back of the paddle board by sticking the hanging buckle、

- When the product leaves the factory, the power system, and the control handle have been networked, so the product can be used directly, and there is no need to carry out networking operations;
- The control handle and the power system can be turned on and operated independently, so there is a possibility that the speed level display is inconsistent after being turned on. At this time, the speed level of the control handle shall prevail, and except for starting the networking mode, the control handle can perform any operation to change the speed level of the power system to be consistent with that of the control handle.
The control handle contains a built-in lithium polymer battery with a capacity of 1150mAh, which can meet the needs of the control handle service time.
The control handle is embedded with a magnetic charging connector, which can
be charged with a Sublue magnetic cable. .
To charge the control handle, an adapter with an output voltage of 5V and an
output current of 1A and above is required.
Storage and Maintenance of the Power System Battery and the Control Handle.
- The battery or control handle shall be stored at 25±5 ° C, the humidity is 65 ± 20% RH, and the battery power is maintained at 30% – 60%. It shall be separately placed in a cool and ventilated place.
- Do not place the battery or control handle in direct sunlight or in high-temperature places (such as near microwave ovens, ovens, etc.). Overheating of the battery may cause fire or explosion.
- Do not throw the battery or the control handle into the fire source, otherwise, it may cause the battery to catch fire or explode.
- Do not charge the battery or control the handle under fire or heat conditions.
- Do not drop, squeeze or puncture the battery, otherwise, it may cause battery leakage, fire or explosion.
- Please do not charge the battery or the control handle below 0°C.
- When the battery or the control handle is used below 0°C, the battery power will be drastically reduced and the running time will be drastically reduced.
- For safety reasons, the battery or control handle should be kept low during transportation. Please discharge before transportation and place the battery at 30%.
- For long-term storage, please check the battery level at least once every 6 months and charge the battery to 60%
Maintenance
Cleaning after Use
①Paddleboard Power Conversion
① After each use, Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit should be completely
immersed in clear water for 30 minutes to avoid seawater or foreign objects.
And pay attention to the following:

Install the battery and start the power system before cleaning.

Please use clean water.
-
Immerse in water for more than 20 minutes
-
Don’t add chemical cleaning products such as laundry detergents or cleaning agents to clean water.

When Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit is immersed in water, some bubbles are expelled from the holes of the equipment body, which is not a malfunction.
② Start the control handle and press the start button to make Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit run in half air and half water for 10 seconds, and repeat this operation
5-10 times.
*Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit -
To prevent the water from being splashed on your body during operation, please push the propeller outlet to the bottom of the container.

Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit has a large thrust force in the water. Don’t dismantle the handle bracket. Please apply the low speed and slightly raise the equipment out of the water surface for cleaning, which is easier to control.
③ Shake fully and clean the Paddleboard Power Conversion Kit body to remove any foreign objects attached to it.
④ Wipe the surface with a clean, soft, dust-free cloth. Make sure that the product body and battery have no water beads. And place them in a cool and dryplace to dry naturally. -
Never use a hair dryer or drying apparatus.
Storage
If you are not going to use the product for a long time, please note that the power system, control handle, and battery should be stored separately, and please follow the principles below:
- Please ensure that the power system is in a cool and ventilated place above 0 °C and below 45 °C.
- Don’t place it in areas with poor ventilation or humidity above 65%RH
- Don’t place it in areas exposed to direct sunlight.
- Keep away from heat, fire sources,s, and children’s reach.
- Keep away from that equipment that may generate strong magnetic fields.
- Please take out the product at least once a month and run it for about 10 seconds to avoid the corrosion caused by changes in the storage environment.
- The control handle contains a lithium battery. For storage method, see the Storage and Maintenance of the Power System Battery and the Control Handle.

The speed level is the experimental speed. The speed of navigation will be affected by such factors as different users, water temperature, water depth, and flow, and other
water conditions, as well as the increase of equipment-carrying load, and the user’s underwater wearing and equipment. -
The normal use time is the average value of the maximum time that the user operates the product in general usage habits (non-continuous operation) when the equipment is fully charged.

The continuous use time of the power system is the average value of the maximum time that the user can achieve for continuous use in each speed level when the product
is fully charged. -
The continuous use time of the control handle is the average value of the maximum time that the user can achieve by continuously pressing the start button after the product is started.
