proper use.

- This device contains magnets. Please keep a safe distance between your device and objects that may be affected by the magnets.
About the SEEKER R1
SEEKER R1 is a new era smart cycling camera which combines the functions of an action camera and cycling safety features in one. The SEEKER R1 comes with a removable SEEKER ONE action camera.
WARNING: We do not recommend cycling during rainstorms. blizzards, or any other hazardous weather conditions.

Getting Started
Using the SEEKER R1
- Long press the power/mode button to turn your device on.
- Short press to switch between the modes. There are 4 modes in total.
- Light sensing mode (default mode)
- Always on
- Fost flashing mode
- Always off
Different Modes
The LED indicator will indicate the current mode selection you are on. and it
is also a battery indicator. GREEN LED indicates the Light Sensing mode. WHITE
LED indicates the current battery life.

About the Light sensing mode
The SEEKER Smart Tail Light is automated. It will turn on or turn off the light with the ambient environment lighting.
Brake Tips
In either of the above modes (except “Always Off”), when SEEKER R1 detects a decrease in speed, the intelligent brake lights will enter “Warning Mode”. In this, the SEEKER Smart Tail Light will start flashing, to alert other motorists around you that you are slowing down.
IMPORTANT: The SEEKER Smart Tail Light will return back to your chosen mode again after 15 seconds, unless it detects another decrease in speed.
Sleep Mode
The SEEKER R1 will enter SLEEP mode after 15 minutes of inactivity. The camera will beep. and the camera will stop recording.
IMPORTANT: The camera will enter power saving mode if enabled with”, the camera settings.
TO WAKE: Long press the power (mode) button to turn on SEEKER R1 and SEEKER ONE.
Charging
Please open the weatherproof cover prior to charging.
The SEEKER R1 and the SEEKER ONE can be charged concurrently with a USB Type-C cable, or they con also be charged individually.
IMPORTANT: You can only charge the SEEKER R1 with the SEEKER ONE mounted inside with a 5V/2A Power Output charger/power bank. Otherwise. it will charge the SEEKER R1 ONLY.
Battery LED Indicator
The white LED will indicate your SEEKER R1 current battery life.

Pairing with the Go APE App
Download the App
The GO APE companion App is available on both the Apple App Store and the
Google Play Store
Pairing your smartphone for the first time
- Open the Go APE App.
- Read through the Terms & Conditions.
- Register on account.
- Enable the Bluetooth setting.
- Click “+”
- Allow the App to discover nearby SEEKER devices.
- Click “Join” on the device that you wish to pair with your smartphone.
- Allow the device to connect.
- Set a new nickname for your SEEKER device.
- Save the new name.
- The device will attempt to connect to your smartphone via a wireless network.
- Click “Join”
- Your SEEKER device is now paired and ready to be used.
IMPORTANT: the Go APE App connects to your SEEKER devices via a wireless network. Please ensure that you enable this setting during the set up or the Go APE SR Sense Mode will not work.
GO APE SR Sense Mode
This new mode was made with your safety in mind. After pairing your SEEKER
device to your smartphone, the smartphone can now act as your smart digital
dashboard.

SEEKER ONE
The SEEKER ONE can be removed from SEEKER R1 and be used as a standalone action camera. Please refer the pictorial diagram carefully for removal instructions.
To Remove
Turn off your SEEKER ONE before attempting to remove the camera from SEEKER Rl. Open the magnetic front flap and then press the button (as indicated in the picture below) and gently pull the camera out from SEEKER RI. Reattach the weatherproof battery cover back onto the SEEKER ONE camera.
IMPORTANT: The SEEKER ONE camera can get hot after a period of usage.
This is to ensure that the heat within the camera gets dissipated evenly to
prevent damage internally. If you are experiencing this, please turn off your
SEEKER ONE and allow it to cool for a few minutes before attempting to remove
it from your SEEKER RI.
To Reinstall
- Ensure that the SEEKER ONE camera has been dried off if it was previously exposed to any moisture. Remove the weatherproof battery cover. Open the magnetic flap (as instructed in the “To Remove” section, gently slide the camera back into the connecting port within the SEEKER RI. Close the SEEKER RI.
- After successfully placing the camera back into the SEEKER R1, long press the power button to turn it on. SEEKER RI is now ready to be used.
Mounting Your SEEKER ONE
Remove the 10 port cover, then install the sport protective frame followed by
the weatherproof rubber cover.
The camera can still be charged in the weatherproof rubber cover.

Product Installation
microSD Card and Battery Setup

Ensure that your SEEKER ONE has been turned off. Press the release button, following the direction of the arrows and the battery cover will open.

Insert the microSD Card into the card slot (as illustrated in the photo on the left). To remove the microSD Card. simply push on the microSD Card and it should eject itself.

Insert the battery into the battery compartment as indicated in the illustration. Ensure that the battery is properly installed and is facing the right direction. Close the battery cover and your SEEKER ONE is reody to be used.
Getting Started
Power On
Press the Power/Mode button to turn on your SEEKER ONE camera.
Power Off
Press and hold the Power/ Mode button for 2 seconds to turn the SEEKER ONE
camera off.
Front Screen
SEEKER ONE’s front screen features a live view from the lens. This makes it
easy to capture perfectly framed shots, when you want to take a selfie.

Display Options
The front screen has two display options that be changed easily.
- Swipe down on the rear screen to access the Dashboard.
- Tap the to access the front screen settings.
- Press the Power/Mode button to bring it back to the rear screen.
Using the Main Touchscreen Display
Tap
To select or deselect an item/function.
Swipe left or right
Switch between Video, Photo. and Time Lapse modes.
Swipe down to the edge of the screen
To open the dashboard.
Swipe up to the edge of the screen
To see the lost photo/video that you have captured and to access your media
gallery.
Capture Modes
Your camera has three main capture modes: Video. Photo, Time Lapse.
Using the Moin Touchscreen Display. swipe left or right to switch bettween your preferred mode. With the camera on. you can also toggle between the different modes via the power/mode button .
Snapshot
The Shutter button is the fastest and the easiest way to turn on your SEEKER
ONE and to capture a snapshot.
Recording a video with Snapshot.
- While your camera is on sleep mode. press the shutter button .
- Press the shutter button again to stop recording and to turn off your camera.
Photo Presets
Your SEEKER ONE has three photo presets – Photo. Burst and Night. Simply
select your preferred preset and press the shutter button to capture a shot.
All photos are captured at 12MP.
Time Lapse Presets
Time Lapse has two presets – Time Lapse and Night Lapse.
On-Screen Shortcuts
The photo, video and timelopse presets have different default shortcuts, but you can customize these shortcuts according to your needs.
Swap the shortcuts

Press and hold the shortcut that you would like to add/change.

The icon will start to shake. Select your preferred shortcut on the selection panel of top of the screen.
Shooting Setting
The Shooting Setting ollows you to choose between manual or automatic mode.

You can make adjustments to your shooting mode in this menu.
Playback Videos and Photos
Swipe up to view the last photo/video that you have captured. Swipe left/right
to flip through your media gallery on your microSD Card.
The Media Gallery includes the following playback options:
- Resume playback
- Pause playback
- Gallery
- Delete
- Playback in slow motion or normal speed
- Use a slider to scan through your videos. bursts, and time lapse photos
- Add/Remove Favorite Tags
- Adjust the playback volume
- Add lock/unlock Tag
Using Gallery View
Gallery view gives you quick access to allof the videos and photos stored on
your SD card.
- From the playback screen, tap
- Swipe up to scroll through your media.
- Tap the photo/video that you would like to view in fullscreen,
- Tap to select files,
- Tap < to go back to the playback screen
Deleting Multiple Files
- Tap
- Tap the files that you wish to delete. Tap it again to deselect the file.
- Tap to delete the selected files.
Using The Dashboard
With your camera in landscape orientation, swipe down Main Touchscreen Display
to access the Dashboard

The Dashboard lets you quickly tap the following settings on and off.

Front Screen Settings
Select USB mode
Connect your SEEKER ONE to your computer with a Type-C cable. You can then
select between the two modes displayed on the camera screen – BC (Battery
Charge) or UMS (USB Mass Storage). Select your desired mode via the
touchscreen.
Go APE App
Download Go APE App
Search and download the “Go APE” app on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and install it on to your smartphone.
Wi-Fi Connection
You can connect your camera to your smartphone wirelessly. You can view, control and download the photos & videos that you have taken on the SEEKER ONE on to your smartphone.
- Turn the SEEKER ONE on and the Wi-Fi connection will be automatically enabled (Ensure that you have enabled this option when pairing your smartphone and the camera).
- Open the “Go APE” app and connect your camera to your smartphone.
