Getting Started

Charging
To charge, connect one end of the included micro-USB cable to a power adapter or a USB charging port and the other end to the micro-USB port on the camera. When you connect the  camera to the power, the camera will automatically turn on. To more effectively charge theca era, turn it off. The red charging indicator will stay on when the camera is charging and turn off when the camera is fully charged. Charging with the power adapter takes around 2 hours. (The Power Adapter is NOT included)

Turning the Camera On/Off
Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn the camera on/ off. When the camera is turned on, the two LED status indicators will Light up and the display will turn on.

Using a Micro SD Card
The camera does not include internal storage and requires a micro SD card ( Class 1 0 + recommended and 64GB Max supported) to function. Use a high- quality, branded card for maximum reliability. Insert a micro SD card into the micro SD card slot and format it ( Format in camera system settings) to prepare the card for use. Formatting will permanently erase any data on the micro SD card.

Camera Modes
After booting, press the mode button to cycle through video and photo mode. Press and hold OK button for 2 seconds to go to choose different recording modes, playback mode, settings mode and Exit.

Different Recording Modes

 video Mode:

  • Press OK button to start or end recording.
  • Press and hold down button for 2 seconds to turn on/off the audio recording.
  • Press and hold OK button for 2 seconds and then press down button twice to enter video settings (Resolution. White Balance, Exposure, Metering mode, Sharpness, Video quality, IS Time watermark, Audio recording).
  • Resolution: 4K(30fps)/2.7K(30fps)/1080p(120fps)/1080p(60fps)/1080p(30fps)/ 720p(240fps)/720p(120fps)/720p(60fps)/720p(30fps).
  • After changing settings, press twice mode button to turn to Exit icon and then press OK button to exit settings.

Slowly Video Mode:

In this mode, when video replayed at normal speed, time appears to be moving more slowly.

  • Press OK button to start or end recording.
  • Press and hold OK button for 2 seconds and then press down button twice to enter slowly video settings (Slow motion speed and resolution, White Balance, Exposure, Metering mode, Sharpness, Video quality).
  • Slow motion speed and resolution: 1 0B0P 4X/1 0B0P 2X/720P BX/720P 4X.
  • After changing settings, press twice mode button to turn to Exit icon and then press OK button to exit settings.

Loop Recording Mode:
In this mode, the video recorded will be segmented at the time you set.

  • Press OK button to start or end recording.
  • Press and hold down button for 2 seconds to turn on/ off the audio recording.
  • Press and hold OK button for 2 seconds and then press down button twice to enter loop recording settings (Resolution .Video length. White Balance, Exposure, Metering mode, Sharpness, Video quality, ISO, Time watermark, Audio recording).
  • Resolution: 4K(30fps),2 7K(30fps)/1080p(120fps)/1080p(60fps)/1080p(30fps)/ 720p(240fps)/720p(120fps)/720p(60fps)/720p(30fps).
  • Video length: 2min/3min/5min.
  • After changing settings, press twice mode button to turn to Exit icon and then press OK button to exit settings.

Time-lapse Video Mode:
In this mode, the video recorded will be compressed to the time length you set For example, an image of a scene may be captured once every second, then played back at 30 frames per second; the result is an apparent 30 times speed increase.
• Press OK button to start or end recording.
• Press and hold OK button for 2 seconds and then press down button twice to enter Time-lapse recording settings (Resolution, interval, White Balance, Exposure, Video length. Metering mode,Sharpness,Video quality, ISO).
• Resolution 4K/2 7K/1080P/720P
• Interval: 0.5s/1s/2s/5s/10s/30s/60s.
• Video length: Unlimited/6s/Bs/10s/20s/30s/60s/120s.
• After changing settings, press twice mode button to turn to Exit icon and then press OK button to exit settings.

Photo Mode:

  • Press OK button to take photos.
  • Press and hold OK button for 2 seconds and then press down button twice to enter photo settings (Resolution. White Balance, Exposure, Metering mode, Sharpness ,Long Exposure, ISO. Time watermark).
  • Resolution: 20MP, 16MP, 13MP, 8MP
  • After changing settings, press twice mode button to turn to Exit icon and then press OK button to exit settings.

Auto-Timer Mode:
In this mode, after pressing OK Button, the camera will continuously take a photo after the time you set.

  • Press OK button to take photos.
  • Press and hold OK button for 2 seconds and then press down button twice to enter auto-timer settings (Resolution, interval, White Balance, Exposure, Metering mode ,Sharpness, ISO, Time watermark).
  • Resolution: 20MP/16MP/13MP/8MP
  • After changing settings, press twice mode button to turn to Exit icon and then press OK button to exit settings.

Burst Photo Mode:
In this mode, you press the OK Button once to take a few pictures in a row.

  • Press OK button to take photos.

  • Press and hold OK button for 2 seconds and then press down button twice to enter burst
    photo settings (Resolution. Photo Frequency, White Balance, Exposure, Metering mode, Sharpness, ISO, Time watermark).

  • Resolution: 20MP/16MP/13MP/8MP

  • Frequency: 3P/s,5P/s, 1 0P/s

  • After changing settings, press twice mode button to turn to Exit icon and then press OK button to exit settings.

Timer Mode:
In this mode, after pressing OK Button, the camera will take a photo after the time you set.

  • Press OK button to take photos.
  • Press and hold OK button for 2 seconds and then press down button twice to enter timer settings (Resolution, Countdown, White Balance,Exposure,Metering mode,Sharpness,1SO,Time watermark).
  • Resolution: 20MP/16MP/13MP/8MP
  • Countdown: 3s/5s/1 0s/20s.
  • After changing settings, press twice mode button to turn to Exit icon and then press OK button to exit settings.

Playback Mode:

In any recording mode, press and hold OK button for 2 seconds and then press down button once and OK button to enter playback mode.

  • Press up/ down button to choose desired picture or video. For videos, press OK button to play/pause, and up/down to rewind/fast-forward.
  • If you want to delete a file, press and hold OK button for 2 seconds until a delete confirmation appears. Press up/down to choose ‘Confirm’ and press OK button to cancel the current file. It will then move to the next video or photo.
  • To exit and go back to recording mode, press mode button.

Settings Mode:

  • In any recording mode, press and hold OK button for 2 seconds and then press down button twice and OK button to enter settings mode.

  • Press mode button to turn to system settings from recording mode settings.

  • Use up/down to highlight individual setting and press OK button to enter those settings. And press OK button again to confirm.

  • To exit settings and go back to recording mode, press mode button to move down to highlight the Exit icon and press OK button to exit.

  • Image Rotation, On/Off.

  • Wi-Fi, On/Off.

  • Light Source Frequency, Auto/50Hz/60Hz.

  • LED Indicator, On/Off.

  • Auto Screen Saver Off/30s/1 min/2mins.
    After a set period of time, if there is no operation on the camera, the screen will automatically go black. At this point the camera does not turn off, you can press any button to light the screen.

  • Auto Power Off Off/3mins/5mins/10mins. After a set period of time, if there is no operation on the camera, the camera will automatically shut down.

  • Beep sound, High/Middle/Low/Off.
    Adjust the sound while pressing buttons.

  • Language, English/Espanol//Portugues/Py cc K H ii/f,j{;jl:rp::i(/j!ttjiCrp)(/Deutsch/ltaliano/ Fra n,ais/ B ;,jl:ii!f.

  • Time Format, YYYY/MM/DD,MM/00/YYYY,DD-MM-YYYY.

  • Time Set: Press UP/Down Button to change the value, press OK Button to turn to next item.
    And press mode button to save and exit time setting.
    [Tips: Since the camera does not have a built-in battery, once the battery is removed or the camera is out of power while shooting, the camera’s time will be reset when it powered on at next time, and then you need to reset the time in the setting.)

  • Date Set: Press UP/Down Button to change the value, press OK Button to turn to next item.
    And press mode button to save and exit time setting.

  • Format: Format/Cancel.
    Format the memory card in the camera. Once this operation is implemented, all date will be deleted.

  • Factory Reset: Confirm/Cancel.
    Restore all camera settings to default settings.

Wi-Fi Connection

Connect your phone to the camera wirelessly. You can see the camera picture, control the camera, and download recordings from the camera to your phone.

  • Turn on the camera, then press and hold up button for 2 seconds to turn on Wi-Fi.
  • Switch on Wi-Fi on your phone and scan for Wi-Fi connections.
  • Find and connect with “Action am”*'”, Wi-Fi password: 1234567890
  • Open the “DV KING 4K” app on your phone.
  • To turn off Wi-Fi and disconnect, press up button again.

Note :

  • When you use your mobile phone to operate the camera, the camera screen will stay off.
  • The camera can only connect to one device at a time.
  • Using the Wi-Fi connection is more energy-intensive; avoid using it when the camera is low on battery.

Operating Camera via the 2.4GHz Remote Control
Use the remote control to take photos or record videos with the touch of the photo button (red) or video button (gray). It operates in the current photo or video mode, or switches to standard photo or video mode to capture. After long use, the battery will eventually need to EN be replaced. Unscrew the four small screws on the back of the case and replace with a new CR2025 cell battery.

  • Keep away from liquids (unless using the waterproof case), extreme heat, and strong magnetic fields.
  • Ensure the camera is mounted safely and fixes securely to avoid causing an accident or damage to the camera.
  • Always pay attention to your surroundings and safety when using the camera.
  • Wipe any dust and water off the camera after each use.
  • Gently clean the camera lens with the included lens-cleaning cloth when necessary.
  • Keep the camera out of the waterproof case when storing.
  • Keep your videos and photos backed up elsewhere to protect against file corruption or loss causes by extreme conditions or SD card issues.
  • If the camera crashes or becomes unresponsive, you can reset it by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. You can also leave it turned off for a short time to cool down.
