- Overlay stickers (Figure 2) – Portrait (A) and Landscape (B) Select the desired overlay sticker, peel the back tape and apply the overlay on the front surface of xNFC_C150SE (Figure 3)
CABLE INTERFACES
xNFC_C150SE comes with 3 types of cables:
a) RS232 interface (DB9 connector) (Figure 4) – xNFC_C150SE is powered by
power adapter.
b) USB interface (Figure 5) – xNFC_C150SE is powered by host through USB.
c) RS232 interface (Figure 6) – xNFC_C150SE is powered by host.
SETTING CONNECTION
- USB interface: Plug the USB connector into any of the USB port of the host.
- RS232 interface: Connect the RS232 connector with the COM port of the host.
INSTALLING THE Battery
- Keep xNFC_C150SE power-on
- Remove Battery: Pull the ejector (A). (Figure 7)
- Install Battery: Insert the battery into the battery slot with a POSITIVE (+) pole facing downward
- Unplug the power
Caution: Keep xNFC_C150SE power on to avoid key loss when battery replacement.
INSTALLING THE SAM CARD
Loosen the screw and open the SAM gate (Figure 8), insert the SAM-1(Figure 8-1) & SAM-2(Figure 8-2) cards in the slot.
USING CONTACTLESS CARD READER
After xNFC_C150SE is powered on, xNFC_C150SE is ready for card reading when
1st LED on the bezel starts to blink.
Place the contactless card close to the contactless logo to read the card
(Figure 9)
