User Guide
NITERIDEFr INITIATIVE
In 2012, NiteRiders’ initiative campaign “Lights 4 Lives” dramatically
improved the cycling landscape; sparking awareness for the need to use bike
lights for both Day and Nightime riding. Since then, Daytime Visibility for
cycling has been gaining more traction, instilling the idea of added safety
for avid cyclists in an age of multi-tasking drivers.
PARTS UST AND IDENTIFICATION
Please verify the contents of your EProTM lighting system:
A. Pre-wired EProT” 1000 Front Light
B. Handlebar Mount
C. Rubber Shims (3)
INSTALLATION
An authorized electric bike service and repair shop MUST install the EPro’m
1000 Front Light.
Installation notes
- EProlm Voltage: 12 to 40 Volts 1.2 Amps at 12 Volts, 300 mA at 40 Volts
- Red wire (+), Black wire (-)
- Select appropriate rubber shim/s for a secure fit
- Install suggested bike manufacturer plug to wire leads of EPROM 1000 Front Light
- Mount the light at a preferred angle for optimal visibility
OPERATION
For Electric Bikes with Ignition/Power Switch, The front light will turn ON
and OFF with the bike’s “ignition” and will maintain mode memory (will
remember the last light mode setting). Press the power button to change
between flash and steady light modes. For Electric Bikes without Ignition /
Power Switch Press the power button to power ON and change from flash to
steady light modes. Turn light OFF when not in use to conserve battery. To

While an EProTm lighting system will improve and increase your overall
visibility and enjoyment of riding, please remember that cycling can be an
inherently dangerous activity. In addition to using your lighting system
properly and riding with extreme caution, NiteRider. urges you to:
- Obey your local traffic laws
- Always let someone know where you are going
- Wear a helmet, highly visible and reflective clothing
- Carry an auxiliary light and emergency supplies
- Make sure the taillight and seat post clamp mount are securely fastened
PROTECTING YOUR INVESTMENT
The EProu” will perform in wet weather conditions, but submerging it in water
will damage the system.

- Lifetime warranty: Covers any defects in material and workmanship, mechanical components (housings, covers, mounts and fasteners) and LEDs
- 2-year warranty: Printed circuit boards, switches, and AC adapters
- 1-year Warranty: Rechargeable battery cells To obtain warranty service have your original sales receipt. Contact the NiteRiders Customer Service Department at 800.466.8366, Ext. 4 to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The RMA number must be prominently displayed on the outside of your package. The product must be properly packaged to prevent damage in transit.

Emax+TM Taillight B. Seat Post Clamp Mount C. Rack Mount D. Rubber Shims (3)
INSTALLATION An authorized electric bike service and repair shop MUST
install the Emax+ TM 150 EV Taillight.
Installation notes:
- Emax.iTM Voltage: 6 to 80 Volts DC
- Red wire (+), Black wire (-)
- Select appropriate rubber shim/s for a secure fit
- Rack mount included for rack mount location option
- Install suggested bike manufacturers plug to wire leads of Emax+TM taillight
- After mounting the taillight, adjust angle to achieve maximum visibility
OPERATION
Press the power button to power ON and cycle through flashing (4) and steady
light modes (2). To power OFF, press and hold power button.
