Product Usage Instructions
Commissioning:
- Unscrew the binding screws.
- Insert the cutting blade.
- Tighten binding screws carefully.
- Check the voltage indicated on the label before plugging in the tool.
- Press down the switch to heat up the cutting blade. It reaches a suitable cutting temperature in about 6-8 seconds.
- Clean the blade with a metal brush while it is still warm.
- Release the switch after working with the heat cutter.
Disposal:
The device must not be disposed of with household waste. An unusable device
can be returned to the retailer or manufacturer free of charge or handed in at
a designated collection point for electrical and electronic waste.

Safety information
It is essential to heed the safety information!
- This device may be used by children aged 8 or over and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been given instruction regarding the safe use of the appliance and understand the resulting hazards. Children must not play with the appliance.
- Children may not carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks unless they are supervised.
- Make sure that the power cord does not come into contact with heat, oil or sharp edges. Damaged power cords can cause fires, short-circuiting and electric shocks.
- If the power cord of this device is damaged, to avoid danger it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service or by a similarly qualified person.
- This appliance has a polarized plug (US-type: one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
- Failure to use the device with care may result in a fire. Cutting blades can reach temperatures of up to 500°C. To prevent accidents, the cutting blade must not be touched after the trigger has been pressed.

- Before use, inspect the device for damage and check that the cutting blade is firmly in place in the correct position. If damaged, do not use; contact customer service.

- Protect the tool from liquids and moisture, as these can cause fires, short-circuiting and electric shocks.
- When working indoors, the fumes generated during cutting must be extracted with a suction device or only work in well-ventilated rooms.
- The hot cutting blade must not be brought into contact with heat-sensitive or flammable materials or with skin, hair etc.
- Do not leave the device unsupervised while it is operating. During longer work interruptions, the device should be disconnected from the power supply.
- After use, allow the tool to cool down before putting it away.
- When the device is not in use, store it in a safe place and protect it from dust and moisture.
- National and international occupational health and safety provisions must be observed.
- Wear suitable protective clothing, protective gloves, and protective goggles when working. Liquid plastic and splashes can cause severe burns or eye damage!
Commissioning

- Tighten binding screws again carefully.
- Before you plug in the tool, check the voltage which is indicated on the label.
- When you press down the switch the cutting blade heats up. After about 6-8 secs. the suitable cutting temperature is received.
- The blade may be cleaned with a metal brush while it is still warm.
