Warranty
- This light fitting is covered by a 12-month warranty.
- Warranty will be void if there is any damage due to improper usage or modification to the fitting.
Installation requirements
- This light fitting is classified – as DIY (Do-It-Yourself) and does not require any electrical connection or disconnection. The service of a licensed electrician is NOT required.
- The assistance of a technical person with the correct tools may be required to complete the installation.
- Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
- Select a suitable location for installation;
- This product has an IPX3 rating and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
- Ensure the fitting is not installed next to any air vents and is not in any moist or damp areas.
- The location must have a B22 lamp batten holder pre-installed, as this lighting fitting is designed to be used with a B22 lamp batten holder. If you don’t have a B22 lamp batten holder, please contact your licensed electrician.
- Lay out all the components on a smooth surface and make sure there are no components missing before assembling.
- Check whether the fitting has been damaged during transport. Do not operate/install any product which appears damaged in any way. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection, repair, or replacement.
- Ensure power to the circuit you are working on has been switched OFF.
Installation directions
Read the installation guide below, and the installation diagram to complete the installation:
- Switch OFF power to the lamp batten holder that this DIY light fitting.
- Remove all packaging material from the product.
- Remove the globe from the batten holder (E).
- Remove the lamp batten holder skirt (C).
- Place the Frame/Body over the batten holder (A).
- Using the batten holder skirt as the securing mechanism to hold the Frame/Body in place. Ensure the batten holder skirt is secure and that it has taken up at least 2-3 threads while securing the Frame/Body of the light fitting.
- Replace the globe (Not included).
- Turn On the power to the lamp batten holder, and then switch ON the globe.
- The installation is now complete. Return power to the lamp batten holder.
Safety Tips
- Always ensure the power is OFF and the fitting has cooled down before performing any maintenance, cleaning, changing the globe or adjustment to the fitting.
- Do not touch the globe with bare hands. Use a clean cloth, gloves, or tissue.
- To avoid injury or damage to the fitting, ensure that power leads and screws are secure before connecting the power.
- Select a suitable location away from liquids and hazards.
- Ensure that the fitting does not come in contact with corrosive chemicals, etc.
- To clean, wipe with a damp clean cloth. Never soak the fitting with water.
