PUTTING ON YOUR EOX
Helmets are often tight the first time you put them on and/or take them off. However, the helmet will loosen with use so it is essential you have a firm (but comfortable fit) to begin with. When putting on the helmet be sure to follow these steps to avoid discomfort:

  1. Pull outwards on the fidlock fastening straps to widen helmet.
  2. Place the rear of the helmet against the top part of your neck so the front of the helmet is angled upwards & make sure you continue to pull the helmet wide at the straps.
  3. Roll the helmet forward over your head.
  4. Check your chin strap is tight to your chin & then fasten the Fidlock buckle.

More information is available on how to put on your helmet is available on our ‘how to’ guides.

FITTING YOUR EOX

  • Helmets will often fit tightly when wearing them for the first time.
  • With use the internal padding will soften becoming more comfortable for the wearer.
  • If your helmet fits badly to begin with, we  do offer alternative head liner and cheek padding options which are available with different thickness dependent on which you require. You may need to exchange the helmet for a different size if the padding doesn’t help. In order to do so, contact our Customer Experience team and they can initiate the returns process.
  • Visit our ‘how to’ guides for  more information concerning fit.

FIDLOCK BUCKLE

  • The Fidlock is engaged by moving the top strap (with the metal buckle) towards the bottom fastener strap. Once in position, both parts  magnetically lock and engage securely
in the groove. Opening the fastener is just as easy: simply pull the red tab to release. To tighten, pull the strap through the adjustment buckle. To loosen, lift the buckle away from the head, releasing tension on the strap and then adjust to fit.

  • Visit our ‘how to’ guides for more information

EMERGENCY RELEASE
Emergency release loops are found on the underside of the helmet, pull on the loops to break the popper connection, releasing the cheek padding from the helmet. These tabs are for emergency use only. Excessive use (not in an emergency) may damage the cheekpad assembly. Only use when necessary.
EOX COMFORT LINER

  • Every EOX comes with a headliner & cheek-pads that are both removable & washable. Not only is this component protective against cold air but it also reduces wind-noise.
  • To remove your headliner & cheek-pads follow these steps: disconnect the poppers on the cheek-pads and back of the headliner. Then disconnect the plastic band at the front of the headliner. Lastly, gently pull out the liner making sure to help the chin strap through the cheek pads and free the plastic wings on the cheekpads from the internal clips.
  • To reassemble simply follow these steps in reverse.

LINER WASHING
You may want to wash your Comfortline from time to time to keep it feeling and smelling fresh.

  1. Firstly remove the items you wish to wash from the helmet.
  2. Hand wash the padding in cold water with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry out. Exposure to heat / sun may damage / fade the material. Once fully dry, carefully reinsert the liner into the helmet. The emergency tab can be pulled tight at this time (to sit flat) if loose.
Visit our ‘how to’ guides for more information.

CHIN-CURTAIN

  • Chin curtains (or Wind stops) are essential to keeping unwanted excess air from entering your helmet at high speeds. Not only does this small device prevent you from being hit with high velocity wind but also helps to reduce noise as well as minimizes dust, fumes and bugs.

  • To install the chin curtain, centralise the unit to be perpendicular to the chin vents, clip in either side using the chin curtain wings and the clips located either side of the EPS between the EPS and shell. Then through a friction fit insert the front of the chin curtain ensuring there is no clash between the wing and the vent body and that the chin curtain is fully under the lower trim.

  • To remove simply follow the steps above in reverse.RuRoC-M005-MAN-001-Full-Face-Bluetooth-Motorcycle-Helmet- \(5\)

  • OPEN/CLOSE TOP VENT

    • All EOX are equipped with a front open/close vent to give you more control over airflow. Increased airflow (open position) will help to keep your head cooler on warm days.
    • Reduced airflow (closed position) will help to keep you warm on cooler days.
  • RAID AIR-CONTROL

    • Thanks to our patented RAID system your helmet’s airflow is second-to-none! At the flick of a switch you are able to transfer air directly to yourself or to the visor. This ‘switch’ is an open/close vent at the inside front of the chin-guard. When the vent is closed the air is transferred to the visor creating clean fog-free vision. When it is opened it offers the rider more air to breathe. RuRoC-M005-MAN-001-Full-Face-Bluetooth-Motorcycle-Helmet- \(7\)

  • WARNING: Do not use tinted visors at night.

  • To remove the visor, lift the visor into the fully open position, to reveal the visor release tab. You will know when the visor is in the fully open position when this pin is right at the top. Push and hold down this tab and at the same time, pull the visor forward and away from the helmet to release it. Repeat this action on the other side of the helmet to fully remove the visor.
