GROUP GOLF LESSONS AT SCALLY’S
2024 CCAC SUMMER SESSION
Scally’s Golf Center and Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) team
up to bring you 2 excellent courses in golf instruction. If you need clubs, we
can provide them at no charge. Class size is normally 10-15 students. These
are adult classes – students must be age 18 or over to participate.
To register, please select one of the starting dates below and call CCAC at
412-788-7546. You can also apply online
by visiting shopcommunityed.ccac.edu
.Select “Sports & Recreations” from the menu bar on the left. You will see
Golf Beginning and Golf Intermediate in the course list. All students must be
registered with CCAC prior to attending a class. CCAC does not allow any walk-
in registration at Scallys Golf Center.
Golf I is designed for new players and beginners who have played the game but
need help with the fundamentals. Your instructor will cover the golf swing
along with grip and stance. One session will be devoted to chipping and
putting.

Golf II is designed for intermediate-level players. You will review the basics of grip, stance and full swing. One session will be devoted to chipping and putting. Your instructor will then cover sand shots, uneven lies (uphill, downhill, side-hill) and other advanced topics.
