CARE & MAINTENANCE

While your iron may not need daily maintenance, over time heavy products or other build up can cause internal or physical issues with your iron. Keep your iron’s vents and surfaces clean of build up by wiping off excess product or residue with a soft cloth. If heavier cleaning becomes necessary, always allow your iron to cool first. Apply 1-2 teaspoons of rubbing alcohol to a soft cloth and wipe off any build up. Avoid scrubbing, as this can cause scratches on your plates.

OTHER IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

This iron has a polarized plug (one prong is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify or change this safety feature. If any abnormal issue with your iron occurs, unplug the iron, allow it to cool, and return it to our Repair Center to be examined by a trained technician. Repairs or modifications should never be attempted by a consumer.

POWER CORD: Never allow the power supply cord to be pulled, twisted, or severely bent. Do not wrap the cord around your iron, as this can cause damage at the high flex point of entry into the iron, causing it to rupture or short circuit. Avoid jerking or straining the cord at the plug and outlet connection. Check your cord frequently to ensure it has not been damaged. Stop using your iron immediately if cord damage is visible or if your iron works intermittently or stops working completely.

STORAGE: Your iron was made to be used in a professional setting and placed at all times on hard, heat resistant work surfaces only. When not in use, your iron should be stored in a safe, dry location, out of reach of children. Always allow your iron to cool before storing it.
