INSTALLATION OF PERIPHERALS AND CONNECTORS

1. Connect the end of your Micro HDMI cable to the console box, and the HDMI end to your screen:

3. Connect the USB-C end of your power supply to your console box, then plug the power supply into a power outlet:

4. If you prefer to connect your console to the internet using a wired Ethernet connection, attach the provided RJ45 cable to the console box and the other end to your modem/router.
   For a wireless connection, please refer to page 4.

5. Start your console by pressing the «Power» button.

START UP AND WIFI CONNECTION

If your console is already connected to the Internet via your RJ45 cable, go to page 8.

1. Wait a few seconds for your console to boot up.
   After a short wait, you’ll get several screens, explaining the functions of the Recalbox system.

  2. Once the presentation is complete, you can proceed. Read the instructions and press the «B» button on your controller to advance to the next steps. Wait for the screen prompting you to choose between «Close» and «Network Setting».

  3. On the last screen, choose «Network Setting» using the left arrow on your controller and press the «B» button to confirm.
     If you accidentally pressed «Close», press «Start» on your controller, scroll down to «Network Setting», and confirm with «B».

  4. Scroll down and press «Enable Wifi», verify that the option is set to «ON», then move down one step to «Network Name» and press to select your network.
     If no network is available, switch back to «OFF» and then «ON» again.

  5. Scroll down to «Wi-Fi password» and press «B» to enter your password. To change character / number / special letter, press the up or down arrow on your controller.

  6. Press «Start» to confirm your password. After a few seconds, you should be connected to your network.
     To verify this, return to the main menu by pressing the «A» button on your controller multiple times, and select «Network Setting». If the «Status» is «Connected», it worked (it may take a few minutes).
     Otherwise, return to page 6, step 4

Help: If you want to connect to another network, switch to «OFF» mode on the «Enable Wi-Fi» function and switch back to «ON» by pressing it again. Then, you can select a new network. It’s possible that your console is connected, but the network may not
display it for several minutes due to a poor connection. To check this, restart your console.
If the issue persists, contact our customer support or connect via RJ45 (Ethernet cable).

UPDATE TO THE FULL RECALBOX SYSTEM

If you are successfully connected to the internet, the system will prompt you for an update after a few seconds or upon restarting.
Click on «Update Now» and wait for the update to complete.It’s your turn!

SET THE SYSTEM TO ENGLISH

1. Press «Start» on your controller and go to «System Setting».
2. Scroll down to «Language» and select «English». Then, move down one step to «Keyboard», choose «EN (QWERTY)», and press the «A» button on your controller to accept the restart.
3. After restarting your console, the system will be in English.

HOW TO TURN OFF YOUR RETROGAMING CONSOLE

1. Press «Start» on your controller and go to «System Setting».
2. In the second window, click on «Power Off».

Wait until the screen no longer displays anything before unplugging your console.

ADD GAMES ON YOUR CONSOLE

To add games, you will need a PC with an SD card reader; if it doesn’t have one, an SD to USB adapter will also work.
This step will explain how to transfer your game files (ROMs) to your console, not how to download ROMs from the internet. We will assume that you have already downloaded your ROMs, which are stored on your PC or another device.

1. Turn off your console and remove the micro-SD card.
2. Insert your micro-SD card into the SD adapter, then plug it into your PC.
3. Open the «Share» drive and then open the «roms» folder.
4. Now you have access to the files of all the emulators on your console. Simply drag and drop your game (ROM) into the corresponding console’s folder. (Example: «Snes» corresponds to the Super Nintendo console: just drag your Super Nintendo games (ROMs) into that folder, then start your console.

Control Assistance:
Exit a game in progress and return to the main screen: «Start + Select»
Select a save slot: «Select + Up/Down Arrow»
Save the current game: «Select + Y»
Load a saved game: Launch the relevant game and
press «Select + X»(in the corresponding save slot)
