Description
The 2010-2A-PAK-HPL Panel Activation Key (PAK) increases the maximum loop
output from 500 mA to 800 mA (high-powered loop) on compatible Aritech 2X-A
addressable control panels. A new PAK is required for each control panel that
requires high-powered loops. Please note that the PAK is only compatible with
2X-A control panels.
Product Usage Instructions
Registration
Follow these steps to register or unregister the PAK. Installer-level access
is required.
To Register the PAK
- Insert the PAK into either of the USB type A slots on the control panel main board.
- Select Panel Setup on the control panel LCD, then choose Panel Activ. Key.
- Select Register New PAK, confirm details on the LCD, and press Continue.
- Press Register, then confirm the registration by pressing Yes.
- Apply the registration details to the panel by pressing Apply or register more PAKs by pressing Continue.
- Remove the PAK from the USB slot.
- Enable High-Power Loop in the control panel (Main Menu > Field Setup > High-Power Loop).
To Unregister the PAK
- Insert the PAK into either of the USB type A slots on the control panel main board.
- Select Panel Setup on the control panel LCD, then choose Panel Activ. Key.
- Select Unregister PAK and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Remove the PAK from the USB slot.
