INTENDED PURPOSE

Provides support with full finger function with localized warmth to the thumb CMC joint for pain relief, stiffness, and inflammation.

INDICATIONS

Osteoarthritis and medial subluxation of the thumb CMC joint. Relieve thumb discomfort associated with CMC joint arthritis, instability, sprain, tendinitis, or repetitive motion injuries.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Loss of circulation and skin irritation or allergy to nylon, neoprene, spandex, or silicon.

Insert hand inside the splint with thumb sliding through thumb hole.
Pull the loop flap over the top of your hand and secure it to the hook area.
To adjust thumb support: Locate the three hook dots at the base of your thumb. Squeeze the outer dots to bend the metal insert for increased thumb support. Push on the center dot to reduce pressure.
Pull the strap around the base of your thumb without stretching it, fasten it to each of the three hook dots, and bring the strap through the thumb web space, securing the end to the hook piece. Note: Size up if the strap must be pulled to fit or if the loop flap does not fully cover the hook area. Size down if the strap is too long to fit or if the loop flap fits loosely over the hook area.
- WARNING Discontinue use or adjust fit if the patient shows signs of irritation, impaired circulation, increased pain or discomfort, or allergic reactions such as redness, itching, tingling, rash, or color changes in the affected area.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CARE

Hand wash with mild soap in cool water. Air dry.
