The product fulfi ls the IEC standard at 220V ~, 50/60 Hz and the current RoHS requirements
SAFETY STANDARDS
By using the CE Mark the manufacturer or EU representative declares in accordance with EU directive 765/2008 “that the product satisfies valid requirements as laid down in community harmonisation legislation regarding its affixing”.
CORRECT USE
The function of the appliance is to light areas, rooms, parking spaces,
building sites, workshops, property etc. The appliance can be used both
indoors and outdoors because of its protection class.
This appliance is only designed for use by adults. Operation in line with the
instructions is not dangerous.
GENERAL SAFETY NOTES
If the appliance is used as a mobile unit then please store it in a secure
place out of the reach of children when not in use.
This appliance is not designed for use by persons (including children) with
restricted physical, sensory or mental abilities or who have no experience or
knowledge except if they are supervised by a person who is responsible for
safety or if they have received instruction from such a person on how the
appliance must be used. Children should be supervised in order to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
If a power cable becomes damaged then this must be replaced by a specialist
workshop in order to avoid the risk of injury or accident as well as damage to
the appliance.
Always remove the power plug when the appliance is not in use and before
cleaning or if faulty.
Never submerge the appliance in water. The appliance is protected against jet
water from different angles because of its protection class IP65 but it is not
suitable for use under water. Risk of electric shock!
Should the appliance fall into water first remove the power plug and then
remove the appliance. Do not operate the appliance after such an incident and
have the appliance checked by an authorised service centre. This is also valid
if a power plug or the appliance is damaged or if the appliance falls down.

Please ensure that neither the power cable nor the appliance is left on hot
surfaces or close to heat sources. Lay the power cable in such a way that it
does not come into contact with hot or sharp objects.

Although the power cable is robust it should never be bent as this can lead to
cable breakage. Risk of electric shock!
Never open the appliance and never try to penetrate the inside with metal
objects. This both causes your guarantee to become void and leads to a risk of
electric shock!
Electrical appliances are not toys! Use and store the appliance out of the
reach of children. Children do not appreciate the risk
that can be involved in the use of electrical appliances. Never leave the
power cable hanging down so that it cannot be pulled.
Repairs may only be carried out by authorised workshops. Appliances that have
not been repaired professionally represent a risk to the user.
Only connect the appliance to a correctly installed earthed socket with a
supply voltage in accordance with the type plate.
Do not leave the mobile appliance unattended during operation as this could
lead to accidents
- Only operate mobile appliances with stands on stable surfaces.
- Never look directly into the light during operation. This could lead to eye injuries.
- Never use the appliance with a damaged cable. Take it to a specialist to be exchanged.
- Only use components and add-ons that are recommended by the manufacturer and designed for that purpose.
- Never store the appliance without supervision in the reach of children.
- Before plugging the appliance in always ensure that both the plug and your hands are dry.
- Remove the plug before it is cleaned or polished.
- Never pull or carry the appliance by the power cable and never lay the power cable over harp edges.
- Do not use abrasive cleansers or pads for cleaning.
- Never submerge the appliance in water.
INITIAL OPERATION/FAULTS AND RESOLUTION

After unpacking check that the appliance is complete and for any transport damage.
If in doubt do not use the appliance but rather contact your retailer. -
The appliance is supplied in stable packaging for protection.
– Remove the appliance from the packaging carefully.
– Remove all the packaging from the appliance.
– Clean the appliance and all accessory parts of packaging residue. -
Unwind the power cable completely.

Mount the appliance at a suitable location on the pre-attached mounting bracket.

Or mount the appliance on a carrying bracket or stand that is recommended by the manufacturer and suitable for this purpose. Please ensure that the carrying bracket or stand is standing on a stable, secure surface.

Adjust the appliance to the direction that is to be lit.

Make sure that the power cable length is sufficient in order to supply power to the appliance.

Insert the power plug into a suitable, earthed socket and do not look directly into the lamp.
FAULTS AND RESOLUTION
• If the LED floodlight doesn’t work:
– Check that the power cable is plugged in correctly.
– Test the socket by plugging in a different appliance.
• If the socket is not working
– Check fuses.
– Check the power cable and socket for damage. Discontinue use of the
appliance if damage is found.
NOTES ON DISPOSAL
The product packaging is made of recyclable materials. The packaging material
can be submitted to public collection points for re-use.
The used appliance must be disposed of correctly at the end of its life in
accordance with statutory regulations. The materials must be re-used in
accordance with their designation. This means that the recyclable material in
the used appliance is re-used and the environment protected. Through this re-
use or other form of permitted use of the used appliance you are making an
important contribution to the protection of the environment.
