About CO
CO can not be seen, smelled or tasted, But if ingested in a certain amount, it
is fatal. The accumulation of CO in the blood is called carboxyhemoglobin
(COHb), It interferes with the body’s ability to supply oxygen. Depending on
the concentration, CO can kill human in minutes. The most common sources of CO
are malfunctioning gas appliance used for heating and cooking, started-
vehicles in garage, blocked chimneys or fluues, portable fuel burning heaters,
fireplaces, and operating a grill in on enclosed space.
Indications of carbon monoxide poisoning include symptoms similar to the flu,
but without fever. Other symptoms include dizziness, fatigue, weakness,
headache, nausea, vomiting, sleepiness and confusion. Everyone is susceptible
to the danger of CO, but experts agree that unborn babies, small children,
pregnant women, senior citizens and people with heart or respiratory problems
ore at the highest risk
for serious injury or death. Every year a qualifi ed technician should inspect
and clean your heating system, vents, chimney, and flues.
The Effects of Different Concentrations of CO on Human Health
Concentration of CO in air (ppm)| Inhalation Time
(approx.) and Symptoms Developed
---|---
35| The maximum allowable concentration for continuou5 exposure in any 8 hour
period according to OSHA
150| Slight headache after 1.S hours
200| Slight headache, fotigue, dizziness, nausea after 2-3 hour 5
400| Frontal heodoches within 1-2 hours, life threatening ofter 3 hours,
also maximum ports per million in flue gos
(on free oir basis) according to US Envir0<1mentol Protection Agency.
---|---
800| Diuiness, nouseo ond convulsions within 45 minutes Unconsciousness
within 2 hours.
| Deothwithin 2-3 hours.
1600| Headache, dizziness and nausea within 20 minutes, Death within 1 hoor.
3200| Headoche, dizziness and nausea within 5-1 0 minutes, Death within 25-30
minutes.
6400| Headache, dizziness and nausea within 1-2 minutes, Death within 10-15
minutes.
12800| Death within 1-3 minutes.
The following symptoms may be related to CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING and should
be discussed with all members of 1 he household.
Mid exposure: Headache, running nose, sore eyes, often described as”llu-like”
symptoms;
Medium exposure: Dizziness, drowsiness, vomiting ;
Extreme exposure: Unconsciousness, brain damage, death ;
Ppm=parts per million OSHA= Occupational safety & Health Association
Above all, all of us should take effective measures to prevent such incidents. Especially needs heating by fireplace in winter. Our CO detector can help you detect danger in advance to keep you and your family away from danger.

Switch On/Off the Smoke Alarm
The device is turned off by default before leaving the factory, Before the
device can be used, please active the device first.
Power On: Use o screwdriver or other suitable tools to slide the switch to the
‘ON’ position, The digital number will change from 000-999 three times. Then
the device can work normally.
Power Off: Slip the switch to the’OFF’ position, the product will shut down.
Alarm Test
Press the TEST /Silence button, the alarm will sound. That means the device
works well. If no sounds, Please feel free to contact us for help.
WARNING:
- Do not ignite combustible materials and start a structural fire.
- Do not stand close to the alarm when the it is sounding. It may be harmful to your ear, so step away when testing.
- Weekly Test: test this smoke alarm once a week.
- A loud alarm is a warning that unusually high and potentially lethal levels of carbon monoxide. Never ignore the alarm. Take effective measure immediately. Such as: open windows and check whether families have symptoms of poisoning of CO. Contact the proper authorities to resolve all CO problems.
Silent the Alarm
During the detector is alarming, push the test button. The alarm will be
paused for approx 10 minutes. The red LED will flash once every 8 seconds. The
device will automatically reset after about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, If
the concentration of CO are still up to the level, the alarm will sound again.
WARNING :
Before silencing the alarm, please identify the source of the Carbon Monoxide
and the surroundings is already safe. If there is any question with the cause
of an alarm, it should assume that the alarm is caused by high levels of
carbon monoxide. You and your families should evacuate from residence.
Tips: If use remoter to silence the alarm only be used in line of sight of the
CO alarm.

1. When wall mounting, the install place should be out of reach of children.
Children are not allowed to operate the CO alarm in any case. Place the alarm
at eye level which allows for optimum monitoring the digital display.
WARNING:
- This detector will only detect carbon monoxide around it. But carbon monoxide may exist in other areas.
- This carbon monoxide alarm only detect CO, It can’t substitute other alarms. Such as smoke alarms. It can’t detect smoke, fire. For this reason you must install smoke alarms to provide early warning of fire to protect you and your family.
Locations to Avoid
Improper location can affect the sensitivity of electronic components and
causing damage to the unit and have a nuisance alarm, please avoid these
places below:
- Do not install in kitchens, garages or furnace rooms that may expose the sensor to substances that could damage or contaminate it.
- Do not install in areas where the temperature is lower than 0°C or Above 40°C. Such as crawl spaces, attics, porches end garages.
- Do not install within 1.5m of heating or cooking appliances. {recommends 3m).
- Do not install near vents, flues, chimneys or any forced/unforced air ventilation openings.
- Do not install near ceiling fans, doors, windows or areas directly exposed to the weather.
- Do not install in dead air spaces, such as pecks of vaulted ceilings or gabled roofs, where CO may not reach the sensor in time to provide early warning.
- Do not piece the alarm where drapes, furniture or other objects block the flow of air to the vents.
Screw mounting
- Remove the mounting bracket from the alarm.
- Piece the bracket on the installation position and mark the two screw holes on the wall.
- Drill holes with a 5mm drill, insert two plastic dowels with a hemmer.
- Fix the bracket to the well with screws (refer to the picture).
- Attach the alarm to the bracket.
Install without Drill
There are double sided tape in package.
- Remove the protective layer on one side of the mounting pad, stick it to the bracket.
- Remove the protective layer on the other side of the mounting pad, stick the pad where you want to mount the co-detector.
Desk Stand
The base of the detector is designed to allow it to stand freely on a shelf.
WARNING:
- The follow the instruction strictly in case of any injury. the device should be installed by a competent person;
- CO Alarm should not be used as a substitute for proper installation, use and maintenance of fuelburning appliances, including appropriate ventilation and exhaust systems.

LCD does not display any value
| 1. Not booting
2. The detector is broken
| 1. Restart it
2. Contact us immediately by email
LCD always shows a very high value| Not booting| Contact us immediately by
email
After starting up, I want to test whether the detector works. Although there
is carbon monoxide in the air, the detector always shows 0| 1. not booting
normally
2. Concentration values in the air are below 30| 1. Turn off the detector
first, then press the TEST button a few times, then turn it on again, and it
will enter the normal working state after hearing the start-up sound
2. increase the concentration in the air
Maintenance and Clean

- Test the alarm once a week.
- Do not paint the alarm.
- Never attempt to disassemble the alarm to clean inside or repair it. It may cause malfunction and will invalidate the warranty.

- Some materials, vapour or gases, can affect the reliability of the alarms in the short or long term. The following is a list of substances at high levels can damage the sensor or cause temporary readings that ore not CO readings:
Ethylene, ethanol, alcohol, isopropanol, benzene, toluene, ethyl acetate,
hydrogen, hydrogen sulphide and sulfur dioxide.
Also most aerosol sprays, alcohol based products, paint, thinner, solvent,
adhesive, hair spray, aftershave, perfume, auto exhaust (cold start) and some
cleaning agents.
