Frequently asked questions
How can I adjust the recording sensitivity to get the best results?
When the main field recording is noisy, you should reduce the recording sensitivity (e.g. from sensitivity 1 to 3) to eliminate the ambient noise. When the main recording is low or fluctuating, you should increase the recording sensitivity (e.g. sensitivity level 5 or 6) and move the recorder closer to the sound source.
Why is there noise in a recording?
Under normal circumstances, it is impossible for audio equipment to be noise- free in a recording, so the amount of noise is relative. Also, if the recording sensitivity or bit rate is too high, you will record ambient noise. You should choose an appropriate recording sensitivity and bit rate to reduce noise.
Why can't I transfer files when I connect to my computer's USB?
We recommend that you try another USB port. Check that the USB cable is in good condition, that the USB interface between the recorder and the computer is not damaged, and that the computer has a USB driver installed.
Why is the sound of the recording low?
Check that the playback volume of the recorder is set to maximum. If it is, we suggest that you connect headphones and try listening to it.
Why does nothing appear on the screen?
Check that the unit is switched on, then check that the product's battery is fully charged; if not, charge it.
Why can't I hear anything through the loudspeakers?
If there is no sound when the headphones are plugged in. If there is a sound when the headphones are plugged in, it may be due to poor contact with the headphone jack or a damaged speaker. Please contact the sales department point of sale for repair.
