Product Usage Instructions
Power Connection:
When not connected to a computer, use the DC 5V power adapter to ensure proper
device functionality. Connect the power adapter to the DC 5V Type-C connector
on the device.
Loop Back Switch:
The Loop Back switch provides the option to record or not record accompaniment
music sent from the USB. Adjust the switch according to your preference.
+48V Phantom Power:
The +48V ON/OFF selector engages or disengages the +48V phantom power supply.
This power supply is available for Channel 1 only. To use +48V phantom power,
make sure to connect a capacitive microphone and set the selector to the ON
position. If using a moving coil microphone, ensure the selector is set to the
OFF position.
Output Connection:
Connect the 1(L) and 2(R) OUTPUTS to powered studio monitors for playback and
mixing purposes. These outputs allow you to hear and adjust your recordings or
audio playback.

Controls

INPUT 1&2 combination XLR/1/4″ connectors. You can connect microphones, instruments, or line level sources to these connectors.

GAIN 1&2 knob adjusts the INPUT level of input 1&2.

-20 LED indicate the presence of audio signals in the channel.

OL LED indicates that an audio signal in the channel is too loud. Turn the corresponding GAIN knob counter clockwise until the OL LED no longer illuminates.

HI-Z button (Channel 2 only). This key specifies the hybrid XLR/1/4 “connector to receive line level or instrument levelinput sources.

INPUT 1&2 combination XLR/1/4″ connectors. You can connect microphones, instruments, or line levelsources to these connectors.

POWER LED indicates that the unit is powered on.

ST selector activates mono or stereo monitoring of audio signals connected to INPUT 1 and INPUT 2 when engaged.

DC 5V type-C connector. When you are not connected to the computer, you can choose this power adapter connecting to the DC 5V to make the device function properly.

LOOP BACK switch is a choice to record or not record accompaniment music sent from the USB.

+48V ON/OFF selector engages +48V phantom power. Channel 1 to have this +48 phantom power supply. (Note: Capacitive micro- phone must be unplugged to the ON position, moving coil micro- phone must be unplugged to the OFF position.

1(L) & 2(R) OUTPUTS connect to powered studio monitors for playback and mixing.
Operation
- Connect the computer, microphone and guitar, as shown in the connection scheme.
- POWER SOURCE switch is switched to USB. If DC5V power is used, Please switch the POWER SOURCE to DC5V.
- The computer is used to play background music and record the BMG22 device’s output of the audio signal.
- MIC1 is connected to the microphone (Capacitor microphone needs to turn the +48V switch to ON, please turn the 48V switch to OFF.
- The MIC2 connects the guitar and presses the Hi-Z switch to improve the sound of the guitar.
- Recording practice: If you need to record the sound of microphone, guitar and computer at the same time, please switch the LOOP BACK to the ON end; When recording only microphone and guitar sound without computer sound, please switch LOOP BACK to OFF.
- Practical operation of monitoring: When the LOOP BACK switch is closed, the sound of the computer can be directly monitored, but the sound of the microphone and guitar cannot be monitored. At this time, press the DIRECT MONITOR switch to monitor the sound of the microphone, guitar and computer at the same time. When the LOOP BACK switch is on, you need to press the DIRECT MONITOR switch to listen to the microphone, guitar and computer sounds. You must turn off the LOOP BACK switch and turn off the DIRECT MONITOR switch when you want to listen to the live recorded sound while recording.
Getting started
- You do not need to install the driver. All Windows and Mac OSX systems can be used by default. The computer displays the sound card program as “BOMGE Audio Microphones”.
- Connect the computer through the USB cable supplied with the goods. Specify your U-Phoria device as the audio in your DAW software.
- Connect a pair of headphones to the headphone port to listen for input levels and playback of audio software. Use the OUTPUTknob or PHONE knob to adjust the earphone volume.
- Connect the instruments and audio source to INPUT1 and INPUT2. Use the GAIN1 and GAIN knobs to adjust the input level of the connected sound source. If you are recording with a capacitive microphone, turn on the +48V phantom power switch on the back panel.
- Connect a pair of monitors to 1(L) vs 2(R)OUTPUT for playback and mixing The sound. Use the OUTPUT knob to adjust OUTPUTS The volume level at the output end.
