What is this Milagrow AguaSolarion?

• Matter disintegrates atom by atom. This process occurs in nature at all levels and this is how water acquires a small amount of unwanted minerals as well. Water purification by ionization has been practiced for thousands of years. The accumulation of water in containers made of copper and silver during the ancient Roman period allowed it to maintain freshness, and clearness and avoid the growth of algae and bacteria. However, if you incorporate some pieces of copper and silver in your swimming pool, it could take a long time to reach an effective concentration of these elements. With our solar water ionizer, a small charge of electricity supplied by the control panel, energizes the electrodes, accelerating the electrochemical reaction.

How does this Milagrow AguaSo/arion?

• At the instant that the atoms from the electrodes of copperÆliver or silver apper zinc of our equipment are Ionized, they are disseminated in the water. These ions exert a lethal effect on the microscopic life forms. The experiments of the  University of Arizona have demonstrated that the mineral ions, together with a small amount of chlorine (0.4-0. ppm) are 1,000 times more effective in preventing algae and bacteria growth in water. Once these minerals are dissolved In water, they remain for extended periods. As salt in the oceans, the ions also do not evaporate even in extreme conditions and intense heat. On the contrary, chlorine is a very light element that tends to evaporate easily, especially in warm climates.
• This solar pool ionizer protects against microorganisms by transforming your water into biologically healthy and algae-resistant mineral water. • Not only are they safe, but they are also recognized as essential minerals for the human body. The concentrations obtained typically correspond to a level that js permitted by the “Environmental Protection Agency” for potable water. Our ionizers are also perfect as a control measure for algae and bacteria in pools with fish because they are not toxic to them.

How many units of Milagrow AguaSolarion will I need for my pool?

• One solar pool ionizer per 35,000 gallons 1, 33, 000 liter approx or less. It will keep your pool free from algae. You need to put 2 or more if your pool is over 35,000 gallons.

How much Chlorine will I need to use after I start to using Milagrow AguaSolarion?

• The requirement of chlorine will reduce by 85% to 95% once you start using Milagrow AguaSolorion. Recommend using a small (2 to 3 parts per million) of sanitizer to keep your pool microbe-free. You may still use small quantities of chlorine, bromine, or a non-chlorine sanitizer. It’s the large expensive quantities of chlorine that you no longer need to keep your pool crystal clear.

How often do I clean the copper anode of Milagrow AguaSolarion?

• You will need to clean the copper anode every week or 2 in hot weather, otherwise, buildup may occur in the basket preventing the mineral from being released in the water properly. if not clean it may cause a tear in the basket.

How do I clean the anode and basket or Milagrow AguaSolarion?

• Remove the unit from the pool, and inspect for any damages on the panel and around the unit.
• Flip the unit over onto a soft surface such as grass (you may want to have a trash bag underneath the unit) and gently remove the nylon screw and basket from the anode. Remove the anode from the unit and give it a little scrub with the wire brush provided. HINT: Easier to clean when wet. when dry, dusty residue can be irritating.

Can I use a metal screw if I misplace or break the nylon screw that came with Milagrow AguaSolarion?

• NO, a metal screw will interfere with the ionization process and will “fuse” into the copper. It must be non- metallic.

What do I do if my pool is cloudy?

• Run your filter a little longer than normal for your pool and add a little extra chlorine if necessary.

Does the Milagrow AguaSolarion need put in the pool all the time?

• Of course not, it is not necessary. The solar pool ionizer can float every day in the first week, to obtain the concentration of ions, and then a couple of days to maintain the appropriate level of ions. Test strips will tell you when can remove the unit.
• If the excess 0. 9 ppm, take it out from the pool, or the water will turn cloudy.
• And put it back to the pool when less than 0.4 ppm. (test strips included in units)
• If the pool is large, or if due to the weather conditions, it was required to the addition of water because of evaporation, it is necessary to keep the ionizer in the water permanently. Swimming with the solar ionizer is perfectly safe and normal.

Will the Milagrow AguaSolarion work if my pool is covered?

• If the panel on the unit does not get direct sunlight it will not work properly. You can gently tether the unit to an area in the pool where the cover is lifted or cut a small hole in the cover fur Iii& uni/ Lu !J& plac:& in Iii& puul.

What do I do if my pool has turned green?

• If you have had a large amount of heavy rain or several overcast days, this may have caused the water to become imbalanced because the unit had no sunlight to be able to ionize properly. Simply shock your pool, run your filter a little longer than you normally and let your water balance itself. If you add too many chemicals this may make the situation worse.
• If you have had plenty of sun and the anode is not scaling, please contact customer support. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT NUMBER OF UNITS FOR YOUR SIZE POOL. ONE UNIT IS GOOD FOR UP TO 35,000  GALLONS AND 1,33,000 LITRES OF WATER, YOU WILL NEED TWO OR MORE DEPENDING ON YOUR POOL SIZE.

What do I do if my PH level is high?

• The PH ran_qe may now expand from 7.2 to 7.8. The solar pool ionizer works well at higher PH values, so do not arbitrarily attempt to adjust the PH if it is within this recommended range. Keep in mind that the general idea is to use your solar pool ionizer just enough to maintain an adequate ion level, and to determine how little chlorine is necessary to keep the water clear. Allow the water to settle down and seek its own balanced condition.
