Method One

You Can Use Any ‘Scan’ Program To Scan The ‘QR Code’

Register a New Account and Login

  1. Open APP ‘iCSee’ ,click ‘Sign Up’ with your phone number/email (Fig.3) ,and sign up a new account
  2. After registering successfully, enter the username/email and password you just registered to login.
  3. You can also use WeChat, Facebook, Line or ‘Visitor Login’ to login in the APP.

Camera power-on operation

  • Please understand the camera connector and buttons clearly before use.
  • Before pairing, power up the device and once you hear the camera say “Start Quick Setup”, This indicates a successful wakeup and you are ready to move on to the next step.

WiFi Connection

(WiFi Camera) WiFi Connection

Attention: Before configuration, please turn on the camera power first, wait for successful startup and reset before connecting to the network

  1. The paired mobile phone must be connected to your router WiFi network; (Only 2.4GHZ is Supported)
  2. Click the ‘+’ Sign(Fig.4) in the upper right corner of main APP interface,click ‘WiFi Camera’ (Fig.5) and follow the device voice prompt(Click ‘Next’ ).
  3. To ‘Router Setting’ interface to choose the WiFi Router and enter the password (Fig.6),Click ‘Confirm’ to enter ‘Scan Code Pairing instruction’ interface.iCSee-P7-Surveillance-Camera-fig \(8\)
  4. After Scanning the code,set the password according to the prompt, and and proceed to the next step
  5. After paring,newly added camera will be showed in the list, connecting successfully (Fig.7)

Fast networking pairing

Please power on the device first, and then configure the network. A After logging in the APP program, the “Quick Pairing Window” pops up as (Fig. 10), please click to confirm. Quick Pairing.
Note: If the Quick Pairing window does not pop up, it means the device does not support Quick Pairing.

  1. The paired mobile phone must be connected to your router WiFi network; (Only 2.4GHZ is Supported)
  2. Click the ‘+’ sign (Fig. 9) on the upper right corner of the APP Home screen to enter the automatic device search interface When using the current device, please click “Confirm” (Fig.10) to proceed to the next step and set the router password Code;
  3. To ‘Router Setting’ interface to choose the WiFi Router and enter the password (Fig.11),Click ‘Confirm’ to enter ‘Scan Code Pairing instruction interface.iCSee-P7-Surveillance-Camera-fig \(10\)
  4. After Scanning the code,set the password according to the prompt,and proceed to the next step
  5. After paring, newly added camera will be showed in the list, connecting successfully(Fig.12)

To set up mobile tracking

  • Click the “Mobile Tracking” (Fig. 14) switch button in the preview interface to turn on the corresponding function;
  • Motion tracking: when it’s on, as long as an object enters the camera’s illumination range, camera will track the moving trajectory (Fig.15);
  • Watch Point: set a fixed position, when the camera is operating or tracking, it will automatically return to the set position after staying for a period of time (Fig.15);

To set up a dual-light perimeter alarm

  • Open the ‘iCSee’ app, click on ‘Real-time Playback’, and then click on the “Light Alarm” or the “Bulb” icon in the screen to open the alarm mode settings (Fig.22);iCSee-P7-Surveillance-Camera-fig \(13\)
  • Starlight Full-color: When the light is insufficient, the white light will start, and the image will be colorful (Fig.18);
  • Infrared Night Vision: When the light is insufficient, the infrared light is activated and the image becomes black and white (Fig.18);
  • Dual-light Alert: When the light is insufficient, the infrared light will be activated. When someone enters the monitoring screen, the white light will be triggered and the image will be colorful. After a few seconds when the person walks away, the infrared mode will be switched on and the image will become black and white (Fig.18).

Set the humanoid warning alarm function

Note: Mobile tracking and intelligent humanoid alert cannot be enabled simultaneously.

  • Open “iCSee” “, click real-time playback of the device, and then click “Settings” at the top right button (Fig. 19).Enter “Settings”-Intelligent Alarm (Fig.20), open the interface to make relevant settings (Fig.21).iCSee-P7-Surveillance-Camera-fig \(14\)

Function introduction:

  • Notification: Must be turned on to receive alarm trigger information.
  • Humanoid detection: only judge and detect people to trigger an alarm;(Fig.21)
  • Show Tracking: When the human figure appears on the screen, the human figure can be tracked and reminded;
  • Rule setting: select the designated area [Warning Line], when someone enters the divided area, the alarm can be triggered;(Fig.21)

How to view playback

Open the “iCSee” application, click “Playback” (Fig.22), on the Live Video page) Click Cloud Play or Local Play to watch the video recorded in the cloud/memory card.

Note: Cloud video storage new users need to renew the use of 30 days after the free trial, there is compulsory payment.

  • Select the video date; (Fig.23)
  • Timeline: Slide up or down on the timeline to play the video.
  • General/Event: Click to display normally recorded video or alarm video. (Fig.23)
  • Hour/Minute: Switch the unit of the timeline (Fig.23)

How to view the device serial number

Note: Mobile tracking and intelligent humanoid alerts cannot be enabled at the same time.

How to share devices

  • Open “iCSee” application, click “My”-“Share Management” (Fig.27) to enter the sharing management interface; click the “Share” icon and then click the device you want to share (Fig.28); open the interface to make relevant settings (Fig.29).

FAQs

Q: Does the wireless surveillance camera support 24/7 continuous recording?

A: Yes, it supports 24/7 continuous video recording, you can choose SD card storage, or cloud storage for storage, cloud storage needs to be paid to use.

Q: Can the device support automatic motion tracking?

A: Hello, the device can support automatic tracking, only need to open the mobile tracking function in the APP program, you can use the mobile tracking normally. You just need to turn on the Motion Tracking function in the APP program, then you can use Motion Tracking normally.

Q: Does the device have a battery?

A: Hi, there is no battery, it needs to be connected to a 12V-2A power adapter to work normally.

Q: Does the camera support 5Ghz Wifi?

A: No, the camera doesn't support 5Ghz WiFi, it only supports 2.4Ghz. Outdoors, 2.4G WiFi has a stronger ability to connect through walls than 5G WiFi.

Q: Is there any privacy risk in cloud storage?

A: The cloud storage is partnered with Amazon Cloud and the storage location is where you purchase it. The surveillance camera utilizes military-grade encryption, so no one can access the camera if you don't share the device with others.

Q: What are the specifications of the micro SD card used for local storage?

A: It is recommended to use a micro SD card for the camera with the specification of 8-128GB, format FAT32, Class10. Otherwise, you will be prompted that the SD card is not supported and needs to be formatted. Please remove the card and format it to FAT32 using your computer.

Q: Can I share it to another cell phone?

Open the APP of the first cell phone, select the device you need to share, click share and a sharing QR code will be generated. Then another cell phone can scan the shared QR code.

Q: How to solve the problem of device disconnecting from network connection/offline/unable to start?

1. First of all, make sure the distance between the router and the camera, usually within 10 meters. If the distance is too far, try to move the devicelf the distance is too far, you can try to move the device to within 5 meters for testing. 2. You can reboot the router device, clear the device cache, re- activate the router once, and re-assign the IP address. 3. Check if there is any traffic restriction, if so, please release the restriction. 4. You can reset the device and reconnect it.

Q: How to restore factory settings? How to reset?

A: Open the rubber plug on the head of the camera, press and hold the reset button on the camera for 5-10 seconds, when you hear: Restoring factory settings, please do not power off, then you can release it and wait for reboot.
