Opening Doors

1. Pull down the beds from the centre using the finger grooves as a guide.
2. Once horizontal, push both beds in toward the centre of the machine to lock in place.
3. To fold away, pull beds away from the centre using the finger grooves on the beds for grip. Once unlocked, fold beds up.

Machine Instructions

To open the machine, (1) pull down the beds from the centre using the finger grooves as a guide. (2) Once horizontal, push both beds in toward the centre of the machine to lock in place. To fold away, pull beds away from the centre using the finger grooves on the beds for grip. Once unlocked, fold beds up.

Handle Operation

To begin using the machine, (1) press the lever in on the crank shaft to release the handle. (2) Lift the handle up vertically and pull it down so that it is parallel with the machine. The crank shaft will lock in place once it is in position. To store away, press the lever to release the handle from the locked positon and twist up and down in front of the machine to lock in place.

Storage

Both beds have lids that can be lifted up to reveal additional storage. Store wafer-thin dies, tools (subject to size), embellishments and more inside.

Platform and Adapter Pads

Using a Sizzlits Die

1. Place Sizzlits die onto a Cutting Pad with foam side up. Place paper over the die. Place another Cutting Pad over the paper to create a “sandwich.”
   

2. Place “sandwich” on the Standard Platform and slide Platform into opening of Big Shot Foldaway. Note the rotation of the handle and continue to rotate it in the same direction until the Platform has passed through the opening and the rollers. Remove Platform from Big Shot Foldaway. Your die-cut shape is ready to use!

Using Originals, Bigz or Bigz XL Dies

1. Place an Originals or Bigz die on a Cutting Pad with foam side up. Place paper or desired material to be cut on top of the die. Place the second Cutting Pad or Premium Crease Pad on top of the paper or material to create a “sandwich.”
   Bigz XL Dies require Extended Cutting Pads (sold separately)

2. Slide the “sandwich” into the opening of the Big Shot Foldaway. Note the rotation of the handle and continue to rotate it in the same direction until the “sandwich” has passed through the opening of the rollers. Remove the “sandwich” from Big Shot Foldaway. Your die-cut shape is ready to use!

Using Textured Impressions, Texture Fades, Texture Trades Embossing Folders or Embosslits Dies

With Textured Impressions, Texture Fades, Texture Trades Embossing Folder or Embosslits die open, insert paper, foil or other embossable material, then close like a book.
Place Cutting Pad above and below the closed folder to create a “sandwich.”

Place “sandwich” on Standard Platform and slide Platform into opening of Big Shot Foldaway. Note the rotation of the handle and continue to rotate it in the same direction until the Platform has passed through the opening and the rollers. Remove Platform from Big Shot Foldaway. Your embossed material is ready to use!

Using 3-D Textured Impressions

1. With 3-D Textured Impressions, insert paper, foil or other embossable material, then close like a book.

2. Place one Cutting Pad above the closed folder to create a “sandwich.”
   

3. Place “sandwich” on Standard Platform and slide Platform into opening of Big Shot Foldaway. Note the rotation of the handle and continue to rotate it in the same direction until the Platform has passed through the opening and the rollers. Remove Platform from Big Shot Foldaway. Your embossed material is ready to use!

Using Framelits, Thinlits, Triplits or Wafer-Thin Dies

1. Place material to be die-cut on Cutting Pad. Place die over paper or photo and align. Place another Cutting Pad over the die and paper to create a “sandwich.”
   

2. Place “sandwich” on both Thin Die Adapter and Standard Platform and slide platform into opening of Big Shot Foldaway. Note the rotation of the handle and continue to rotate it in the same direction until the Platform has passed through the opening and the rollers. Remove Platform from Big Shot Foldaway. Your die-cut shape is ready to use!
