Product Usage Instructions

• Initial Preparations and Necessary Tools
  Note that some assembly steps require two people. It is recommended to have the following tools ready for assembly: spirit level, tape measure, ladders, protective gloves, goggles, drilling machine, P22, TX25, and TX40 screwdriver bits. Use a 5.5mm drill bit to drill small pre-holes for the screws to prevent cracks.

• Anchoring and Maintenance
  Regularly check the tightness of the swing’s screws and the stability of the swing every 1-2 months. Tighten bolts and ropes as necessary for safety.

INITIAL PREPARATIONS AND NECESSARY TOOLS

• Read the instructions carefully before installing the swing. Install the swing on a flat surface. The surface soil under the swing should be made softer with e.g. stone ash, rubber tiles, gravel or wood chips. Ensure a safe distance of the swing from other objects, such as trees. The Metal anchors for the legs supplied with the swing must be solidly concreted into the ground. Start the assembly by grouping the same parts into their own piles. Check that all the parts and quantities mentioned in this manual are included in the package. Keep small parts in bags so they don’t get lost.
• Note, that some assembly steps require two people. It is good
  to get some tools to help in assembly. Spirit level, tape measure and Aladders are necessary at the work. We recommend to use protective gloves and goggles. The fastest way to drive screws into wood is with a drilling machine. Three different screwdriver bits are needed for the screws: P22, TX25 and TX40. We recommend using a 5,5mm drill bit to drill small pre-holes for the screws to prevent cracks.

ANCHORING AND MAINTENANCE

• Dig 400 mm deep holes in the ground to cement the feet of the swing into the ground. The appropriate hole diameter is around 600×600 mm. Put a layer of gravel on the bottom of the hole. Fix the metal anchors (which come with the package) to the legs of the swing, and then place the swing in the holes and cement the metal anchors into the ground. Fill the hole with concrete up to 30-50mm below the ground level. After drying, cover the concrete with soil. The legs should not be installed in sand or other soft soil, because it does not guarantees stability a good enough. If the soil easily freeze, protect the hole from frost before cementing.
• Important! Check regularly every 1-2 months the tightness of the swing’s screws and the stability of the swing. Bolts and ropes must be tightened if necessary.

• Not for children under 3 years of age. Danger of falling.
• Intended for children aged 3-14 (maximum 50 kg).
• The product is designed to withstand a maximum of 2 users at a time.
• Danger can be caused by loose parts of clothing which can get caught while playing and cause a risk of injury.
• The structure of the swing may not be changed

FYI!

• The wooden parts of the product are pressure impregnated and the metal parts are galvanized, so the product as such is very resistant to weathering. Impregnated wood may turn gray over time; we recommend regular maintenance treatment with a wood preservative to keep the surface of the wood good from year to year. Wood is a living natural material, the dimensions and shape can vary slightly without altering the characteristics and quality of the product. Impregnated wood is not disposed of by burning, but must be returned to the recycling center’s impregnated wood return point.

INSTALLATION STEPS

Check the straightness with spirit level

Attach the Metal Anchors (included in the package) to the  legs of the swing, place the swing in the holes and fix the  Metal Anchors to the ground with cement.
