CLEANING, CARE & MAINTENANCE

NOTE: Always clean trimmer attachments regularly to ensure maximum performance and a proper operating life.

DO NOT RINSE TRIMMER HANDLE. CLEANING ATTACHMENTS WITH WATER

  1. Remove attachment.
  2. Rinse ONLY the attachment under warm running water. Do NOT use hot water as this might cause damage.

CLEANING FOIL SHAVER

(Do NOT rinse nor oil foil shaver attachment as this is permanently lubricated.)

OILING BLADES & CAUTIONS

  • Rinsing attachments under water (above) requires lubricating the cutting blades 1x monthly. Using only light-grade oils (e.g. sewing machine oil), simply spread 1-2 drops lightly over cutters with fingertip. Wipe away all excess.

NOTE: Always recycle or properly dispose of batteries according to Local and State requirements.

  1. Unplug groomer from outlet to avoid risk of electrical shock.
  2. Pry the lower housing from the product with a flat head screw driver. This will expose the batteries.
  3. With wire cutters, clip the wires leading to the batteries.
  4. Remove the batteries from the product. Contact your local authorities for proper disposal.

CAUTION: THESE LITHIUM ION BATTERIES MUST BE RECYCLED OR DISPOSED OF IN ACCORDANCE WITH STATE AND LOCAL REGULATIONS.

Do not burn or mutilate, as they may burst or release toxic materials. Do not short- circuit, as this may cause burns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it work well in the male groin area?****

My boyfriend has this and uses it on his pubes. It works really well, only leaves a stubble now because it’s got a dull blade (he’s had it for over 2 years). It can cut if the skin isn’t taut, so like a couple of other people here have said, it works best when you’re erect.

Can you use this shaver with the power cord plugged in if you forget to charge it?****

Mine is model number Remington PG6025. When Mine is totally dead, I plug in the charging cord, the green light comes on. And it works as if it’s fully charged. Mine, maybe I got lucky, maybe it’s a fluke, but MY Remington PG6025 DOES indeed work fine when plugged in if the battery is TOTALLY dead.

I’d like to know if this is the model that supports 110-240V and could be used internationally****

My charger indicated 120 volts only. I bought the groomer not knowing I’d be going to Europe for three years. Before I left, I bought a very small, inexpensive voltage converter (charging it takes very little wattage) and used the groomer in Europe for three years with no problem and continue to use it in the US.

Can you use this on your most sensitive parts?****

The bare clippers are probably pretty good for that, though like any clippers you would need to be a little careful. The combs, however, are pretty irritating. I’ve been using the longer comb, and the plastic is molded such that the two mold pieces meet right at the front of the comb, forming a very sharp lip in the worst place. I’m going to trim and/or sand that edge before I use it again on sensitive skin.

Does this item come with a charging stand and organizer for all the attachments? The older PG6020B model does, but what about this model????****

No charging stand, just a charging cord. It holds a charge well, so doesn’t require constant charging. It comes with a bag that holds the unit and attachments.

can this trim and line up my mustache? I want to make my mustache thinner****

Yes you can use this to line up your beard or mustache.

I want to know its include battery and charger?****

Yes the battery is in the unit and this does come with the charging cord as well.

does this work in India? with 120 V?****

I think India uses 220V and not 120V. I wouldn’t take my chances, buy a different one in India.

Does it leave nice close lines?****

For $19.99 it’s a as close as you’d expect.

What kind of connector tip does it use?****

The PG6025 uses the RP00305 power cord and accessories that are not provided by Spectrum Brands, Inc. are not recommended. Please contact us at contactus@remingtonproducts.com so that we may better assist you.

How long is the blade?****

It’s about 1 inch wide and about 1/8 of an inch long.

Does it come with a charger?****

Yes this does come with a charging cord.

Where can I buy Attachements?****

On Amazon they have them.

I lost the charger; is there any way I can get a new one? If not, what type of charger does it take, so that I can find one elsewhere.****

You can get a replacement charger from Amazon for the Remington PG6025 for $11.99. My charger went out so seeing as how the replacement is $20.99 I just bought a new trimmer with charger. So now I have two trimmers in case one trimmer goes out. $8 difference.

Will these clippers nick my sack without the guard on?****

Yes. You have to be very careful when using these clippers because the blades are very sharp. Otherwise it does what it designed to do.
